Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have done a Holiday Rental now for 12 years in several states. This was the absoliute best rental we have had. Spacious, plenty of bathrooms for our group of 12, and a wonderful kitchen and living area for family fun.

Mammoth Getaway

This place was absolutely beautiful. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was a delight. Generous bedrooms. Close to the bottom of the mountain and village. On the golf course and was breathtaking with newly added powder. Winter wonderland. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a ski getaway!

The house was wonderful - perfect for a large group with kids with a big kitchen and a bathroom in each room! They also had a place to store your skiis and the house was hop, skip and jump away from the ski lifts. We would definitely check it out again!

Overall, we had a lovely stay. A few minor things were in need of repair but did not impact the stay. Property manager communication was great before and during the trip. 8.5/10

Great for a group

Clean property, well stocked kitchen, adequate pillows and bedding, lovely living room for hanging out. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. The pull out bed downstairs was broken but management was responsive to get us blow up mattresses as replacement beds. Would definitely return here with a big group!

Stonegate 12 stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped with loads of plates and glassware, pots and pans. No big platters or serving trays so must bring your own if you have a large group. Hot tub is clean and works well, ample towels, comfortable bed and linens. WiFi works well.. The house is well stocked. Only downside is none of the tvs are smart tvs so no access to netflix, Hulu, max and the cable is turned off so none of the tvs actually work.

Upscale townhome, perfect for large groups

Overall, our stay was great. The space accommodated our large group very well. Private baths for each bedroom was a nice touch for the families with young children. Kitchen and living were open and a great space to hang out in. A few smaller issues that included a light fixture in the garage falling onto one of our cars and the door to the pull out trash in the kitchen literally just falling off. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

Motorized blinds and ceiling fans did not work and promised support to fix did not show up. This was disappointing because because the view would have been beautiful with all the snow.

Thanksgiving Ski Stay

The listing was absolutely gorgeous and exactly the space we needed for a group of 10. The house is in a great location and is a beautiful home right on the golf course and near town. However, it's in need of some serious cleaning and tlc. There was no wi-fi the entire stay, the sofa beds are horrendous with no additional blankets/sheets, the sheets/towels were stained, and the kitchen had many issues relating to lack of maintenence. The nightly rate of this home should be lowered because it is just not luxury. It could be a beautiful home if the owners/property management company put some love into it.

The amenities didn’t match the home!

Let’s start with the service ware. Not enough for 10 people. The pots and pans were in a sad affair. Plenty of them but with an estate site home we expected the kitchen to be up to par. Many gadgets but not enough good cookware.

Ideal location

Perfect stay for our family trip. The cabin is spacious and with the three levels it gave everyone privacy. We chose this cabin for the location. It’s in walking distance to the Village and minutes away from the lakes basin. The house was very clean and they provided fans, fresh linens etc upon our arrival. Beautiful cabin but property management/owner needs to fix a few things. The trash cabinet was missing a door and had exposed nails that almost cut someone in our group. The refrigerator door is difficult to open. It’s stuck and you have to pull very hard from the bottom. Overall it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our trip!

Wonderful Home!

This is a perfect vacation home! It is a quick 7 minute walk to the village although you have to walk on the street. The house is gorgeous! The grand room and kitchen were perfect in every way. The fact the bedrooms all have their own bathrooms is ideal when traveling with a group. The master bedroom is beautiful and spacious. The hot tub was a favorite with the kids taking a soak after a very snowy day on the mountain. This is truly a spectacular home. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer as well, sitting on top of a golf course. I do think a little TLC and maintenance is needed for little things like kitchen sink knob, fireplace knob (so temp and be controlled), dryer was slow to dry clothes, floor warmer doesn’t work in Master bath and manuals to work certain things, TV dishwasher, washing machine would be great. But those are little fixes. In the big picture the house is amazing and we would definitely come back!

Disappointing weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I don't write reviews very often, but I feel this stay warrants it. This was a very expensive weekend costing about $3k/night. The stay didn't warrant that based on all the issues experienced:- no remote control for the blinds which remained closed the entire weekend we were there which blocked our view - leaking ceiling light in the master bathroom- broken window knobs- BBQ with only 1 burner working- front porch inaccessible due to snow The management didn't even reply to my last request for a resolution.

As Advertised - but a few surprises

Property was generally in good shape and as advertised, however, two concerning instances... 1) One of the bedrooms appeared to be in the midst of painting/drywall work when we arrived. Furniture was pushed to the side and there were coverings/painters tape. A work crew showed up unannounced and walked in the first morning of our stay at the house. They were friendly but the lack of communication that this room was under repair was concerning. 2) When using the hot tub for the first time there was a glass cup under the water (thankfully unbroken).

Stunning Great Room, Chef’s Kitchen

We came w/ 2 families & agree it was one of our most favorite vacation rentals. The fact that all rooms had an ensuite was a tremendous bonus…so rare to find. The master was big & beautiful w/ a lovely fireplace. The grand room had gorgeous tall bright windows, a huge fireplace & large dining table in addition to the breakfast bar seating area. A few things to note: The listing advertised heated floors in master but when we asked how to operate that feature we were told that the owners had never set it up & that it was listed in error…so that feature wasn’t functional. I wouldn’t have mentioned it here except for fact that property manager said she would remove that info, but it’s still in the property description as of 11 days post check-out. There were a few maintenance issues like broken blinds, cabinet door & blender… not a huge deal, but could use some attention. The phone reception in the area is quite poor, & combined w/ fact that the WiFi didn’t work at all the entire time meant that we couldn’t stream videos on our devices nor do work on our laptops…which is important to note if you’re dependent on wifi for work or pleasure. The property manager had good response time but owners were slow in responding to her inquiries from us. Kids loved playing outdoors in the snow, until we had a beautiful big bear pay a visit a few steps away from the house, who subsequently stayed there half the day…but then again, it’s Mammoth/bear country. All in all would love to go again.

Great stay in historic weather

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place, checked in during historic blizzard. Host was gracious in allowing us to get in a bit early and out of the snow. Internet went out in town due to weather. Host followed up quickly to notify the internet provider and owner for a quick resolution. House was well equipped, great kitchen. House was a bit dusty, but they all are in mammoth. It is the nature of heaters.
