We are so glad this guest found our property to be "very nice ... clean... with a full kitchen with all the necessities" needed for a large group to have a great stay. That's what we are accustomed to hearing and why we were so shocked to see the very low star rating the guest assigned our home. As our 5-year Premier Host status and 240 5-star reviews attest, we value our guests and work hard to make every stay an exemplary experience. Even when guests have unrealistic expectations, we go above and beyond to meet them, as we did in this case. When this guest was unhappy with the grills (which are managed by our HOA and normally out of our control) we hustled the HOA to have 2 fancy new Weber grills delivered within hours-- a miracle in a town where everything works on "Mammoth Time." It's a bummer to learn in the review that the guest did not like the foosball table, which is pictured in our ads and has made so many kids (and kids at heart!) happy. We hope the kids were able to enjoy the XBOX, TV, and countless board games and puzzles instead. To be honest, we were so shocked at this review that when our very next guest rated this property 5 stars and said it was "top notch... beautiful and upscale," and that they "loved, loved, loved this property" we felt such relief. We would never want to host guests in our place knowing we were truly offering a bad experience. Regardless, we hope that wherever this guest travels next, she feels happier about her choice of accommodation.
