This has been the worst stay I have had in mammoth and its so sad I brought my family here for our summer vacation. This place is not clean whatsoever! If you have kids or just in general DO NOT stay here. The beds, bathroom and sofas were all dusty. We found a roach, spider and spiderwebs. I took pictures that I will send directly to property manager. I dont revommend this place, I wish I can take my vacation back and reschedule to another stay. We didnt feel comfortable sleeping of sitting in the sofas. So much dust!

Summer 2020

1) There was loose dog or cat food scattered in the master bedroom 2) spiderwebs were all over the master bedroom corners. 3) We did not receive the code to get in till later that night; so when we arrived we did not know we needed a code until we got hold of someone on the phone. 4) Wifi did not work. Otherwise: plenty of supplies, amenities, well stocked kitchen which was appreciated, quiet location, plenty of room for us 5. We would stay here again and probably will in this complex.

Great Condo

The condo was perfect for our needs. My only complaint would be that neither the DVD nor the Blu-ray worked. We had plans to watch some movies we brought at night together and we weren't able to do that. Also the beds were rather hard.

Week long stay with 2 families over the holidays

Best thing about this condo was the location - close to the Red Line shuttle and the complex's spa. Mattresses and sofas were very soft and not great for people with bad backs. Kitchen was small with fairly good supplies, though no metal cooking implements. The internet was practically non-existent - they used a shared wifi router, and we had little to no access for entire week's stay. This cost us extra in terms of cell phone data fees and made it impossible to get any real work done, which we had planned on for such a long stay. A call to the management resulted in no improvement - they claimed "all of Mammoth" had bad internet, but our friends across the street had perfectly good access. Overall, this condo is better for a quick weekend getaway.

Need better communication

We had a family reunion scheduled for a year with 3 properties in this complex. Upon arrival. after a 6 hour drive with a 2 and 5 year old, we arrived to find open paint cans, drop clothes, missing fixtures etc in the downstairs bathroom. Not habitable. After many heated conversations with Vacasa the property manager, we were able to get this resolved. Vacasa handled this horribly. I would never use them again. Obviously there was a miscommunication, but first the property manager told us the paint cans were to remain. Then he passively said, he would try and reach out to the local property manager. No sense of urgency to get this resolved. The local property manager was very helpful. NOT a good way to start a vacation. The unit is located in a great area, with a park near by and a pool, barbecue and tennis court at the complex. The unit is well apppointed. I wish they would have mentioned in their listing they were dog owners. There were some nasty mats we moved outside and though I am sure they vacuumed, having dogs means dog hair in the carpets etc. Probably wouldn't come back here primarily because of the poor customer service of Vacasa.

Family Thanksgiving in Mammoth

Clean and organized place and fit our family just right. Kitchen was great! All the stuff we needed was there (except 2 of the front burners didn't work) and the table was extendable so fit all of us and the food. Rooms were comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Place is conveniently located for us, to snowboard or go to town.

Unit Good, Check-in/Reservation Poor

The unit itself was very comfortable. Everything needed was available. A little difficult with mountain bikes but all in all a friendly, comfortable unit. My problem which would force me to look elsewhere in our future visits was the process of renting the unit and check in. I had called a couple days prior to my original check in date to see if the unit was available for to rent for an additional day in the beginning. I was assured it was as my check in was Monday and the guest prior was checking out Saturday. We discussed calling on Saturday to confirm a Sunday reservation pending getting ready to leave as we are 10 hours away and was told no problem. I called and then was told there is a maintenance hold but they would put a ticket in. Sunday morning comes around and we are on our way and when still calling there are no updates, putting in tickets etc. When I arrived to the office they knew nothing about it, and it was only a cleaning issue. We arrived in Mammoth at 2:00pm. They would not clean the unit regardless of the poor service from the booking side. This cost me a few hundred dollars in hotel and eating out. I was told the next day they would get on the cleaning right away and try and get us in before the 10:00AM check in. That didn't happen and in fact we couldnt get in until noon, two hours past check in. This was an unpleasant experience that cost a lot of additional money and time not spent enjoying our trip.
