It's a nice place to stay for the week. Clean, Cozy and centrally located. Additionally, great to have everything on one floor. Initially, I was going to give it a 3 stars but that is not fair to the owners. The VRBO commercial with Nick Sabin came to mind while reading all the rules. "No showers over 5 min. and 25 min. apart and No Fun". I understand and would never disrespect someones property that they allows me and my family to stay in - ever. But having to leave the property as you found it, so that the cleaning crew only has to vacuum and sanitize??? It's a bit extreem.

Great location

We were looking for a place close to the bus stop for easy access to skiing, and this location was perfect for our family. It’s also just a short walk to grocery stores and restaurants, which made our stay even more convenient.

Cute place and great location. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. Our food got spoiled due to fridge not getting cold and freezer not working. Mattresses could be replaced too.

Great family place

The unit was very clean and recently updated. It had almost everything you need in the kitchen. The living room and both bedrooms have smart tvs with streaming services. The WiFi was great as well. It is a bottom floor unit so there is some upper unit noise but nothing excessive. The hot water is limited - like most Mammoth condos - but a little conservation and everyone gets a hot shower. We had a great trip and would definitely stay again!

Clean, cozy and convenient!

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay in your well equipped home. Warm beds with plenty of pillows, lots of clean linens and a fully equipped kitchen. The community is great (friendly co-tenants) with a fabulous jacuzzi / community game area. Frequent snow-plowing service kept the parking areas and walks clean. Highly recommended!

Cozy and comfy

Good location. Easy access to main thoroughfares to get to any base lodge, The Village, and in-town shopping quickly and easily. Right across the street from bus stop #46. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Beware -- Unreasonable and uncomfortable

Had a terrible experience. The property manager gave us the wrong door code -- so trying to check in at 10:00 pm while 25 degrees outside, we were locked out. After calling/texting/emailing the 24/7 customer support line for two hours, we relented and checked into a hotel. Family of six crammed into the only hotel room availabe in town resulted in no sleep for mom and dad, with a rough night for our four kids. We heard back from the property manager at about 5:00 am the next day. They gave me the correct code and apologized. Unfortunately the night cost me an extra $400+ for the hotel (holiday week) and we lost the next day of skiing. The property manager offered no reimbursement, stating that they responded in a reasonable amount of time. This fail on their part was pretty legendary, followed up by an equally heroic effort to not correct the wrongdoing that they acknowledged. Separately, the unit is really out of date and does not look like the pictures. Much darker than depicted, the beds are uncomfortable, you can hear the upstairs tenants' every move, and my favorite... no plates or bowls. Silverware and cups, but no plates or bowls. Classy. This place sucks. I've been coming to Mammoth since I was 8, so 30 years of 2 to 4 trips per year, and I've never had a bad experience until now. Super bummed.

Great get away condo.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunshine Village condos. The place was dog friendly which is first and foremost for us. It was nicely decorated, comfortable bed/ linens and nice Living room area. We used the hot tub & sauna which were great! The 2nd bthroom had faster hot water and was more comfortable to use. The kitchen has all cooking/eating utensils. However, if you want to cook, you need to bring: oil, salt/pepper, seasonings, sugar, your own coffee, etc.

Comfortable Condo

The condo was roomy and comfortable for my family and pet. The condo was clean, ready for us on time and had basic supplies for our visit. We travel often to Mammoth so we are always prepared with our own basic needs so if it was not provided we had our own supply. The only issue we had was the heating. The condo did not heat evenly throughout so we were a bit chilly. It also didn't help that this Spring was as cold or colder than Winter so it was cold all around. Once we did get the heating more even the last night of our stay, our allergies flared up and two weeks later, I am still recovering from my allergies. I'm pretty positive it was the heating because I was fine the first three nights until the last night that we cranked the heat in the living room. I'm super sensitive with my allergies and it takes a long time for my allergies to go away after a flare up so unfortunately, we will not be staying at this condo again. I do not recommend this condo to those with allergies but otherwise, it is a great comfortable condo.

Overall good

Property was good. Needs more spices for cooking. We also heard loud banging noises every night. Beds were not that comfortable, but could have been worse. The microwave did not work the last night, even though we followed directions not to have lights on, or have too many things plugged in.

Overall decent stay

We had a good stay at this property but a few things could have been improved. This place is very bare bones and no frills. Kitchen is a little dated and some of the dishes and utensils were dirty. We had only one parking pass whe the description said there was two. All the remote controls did not work with the TVs. One of the bulbs in the dining room was going on and off. Beds were comfortable and the location was close to grocery store and mountain.
