Recomendable 100%

Todo perfecto: habitaciones completas, mejor que lo que parece en las fotos, con todo tipo de detalles, todo muy limpio, desayuno muy completo en un jardín precioso al borde del mar, el trato de todo el personal y en especial del propietario, Jerome, pendiente en todo momento de que tu estancia sea perfecta. Recomendable 100%. Si volviera no dudaría ni un segundo en volver a este alojamiento.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout était : parfait. Le propriétaire et le personnel étaient aux petits soins. Le bungalow est très bien agencé et très confortable. Les petits déjeuners étaient très copieux. Conclusion : tout était parfait

Jerome and his staff at Somewhere Else were fantastic. So helpful and willing to help with everything one could want to make their stay on Camiguin enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going to Camiguin.

Séjour de rêve ! Dès l'aéroport grâce à la navette gratuite on se sent attendu et accueilli. La maison est super équipée et le lieu un paradis très bien placé avec petite piscine et plage, le tout super bien entretenu. Le personnel.est adorable, le petit dejeuner servi sur la plage ou dans votre salon extérieur cozy est FABULEUX. Miam les crêpes, les fruits, le pain, les confitures maison et le jus frais entre autres... Quel bonheur d'avoir passé Noël dans une île si sympathique, où les habitants sont contents de vous voir et ne vous prennent pas pour des pigeons. Dernier point et pas des moindres, Nova notre charmante hôtesse a rendu ce séjour absolument exceptionnel, Dès la réservation, elle était en contact pour tout gérer à l'avance, sur place tous les jours elle nous a aidé afin de mettre à profit au mieux nos visites et nos journées. Bref au delà de toutes nos attentes. Le service, la tranquillité du lieu et sa beauté, la classe de la villa, tout, tout, tout me fait conseiller Somewhere à ceux qui auront la chance de visiter Camiguin ! Bravo Jérôme vous avez une chouette équipe !

This property is a go to if you’re staying on Camigan Island. It is very modern in the inside of the villa as well as spacious. They provide transportation to and from the port, breakfast was delicious and included in the price, and if you don’t feel like going out you can order dinner to be be delivered for a small fee. The property leads directly to the beach/ocean (beautiful views). Right behind each villa is a personal lounge area equipped with couches,etc. there’s a pool on site as well as badminton. It was so serene. The staff was extremely accommodating, so big shout out to Andrew and Nova.

This is a very clean and well-maintained property. Rooms are awesome, comfortable and cleaned every day. Great care goes into this property. Nice beach front for watching the sunsets over the Bohol Sea. The service and the staff are simply the best. Anything you need, anytime you just ask. Excursions, rides or an excellent home cooked breakfast. I have no doubt that when I ever return to Camiguin this is the place I will stay. You will be glad you did as well.

We were super happy at Somewhere Else! The property is on the beach and the accommodation is unique and interesting, well-built, spacious, a good value, and comfortable with a fantastic outdoor space. The owner, Jerome, is very thoughtful, accommodating, and fun and his staff are wonderful. We were impressed with everything he did to may our stay enjoyable from arranging scooters, providing beer/rum/wine, transfers to the ferry and airport and even picking us up and dropping us off for dinner. Fantastic breakfast too!

What a beautiful paradise within a paradise island! We felt quite spoiled which is the beauty of a small but high standard service resort. Truly it felt like we had a private concierge with so much flexibility with our requests like for breakfast time and variety, dog sitting for our furry companions, and believe it or not even for assistance with our driver’s license and car registration renewal. The whole team is always happy to greet you morning, noon and night with genuine island hospitality and sincere desire to make our stay memorable. We loved our villa especially the porch where we lazed around. We enjoyed the birds that came everyday to check out their garden. We had a good workout at the badminton grass court. Our swims in the clear waters of the black beach were very refreshing. It was truly our home away from home and sad to have to say farewell to Jerome, his wonderful and hardworking staff and the well loved and cared for rescue dogs.

Jerome is a very nice guy and will more than help you with your trip. The resort itself is quite nice as well and offer all the amenities one is used to in this price class. I recommend renting a bike and going around the island - just check the weather in advance, sometimes it can be very rainy for days

Just brilliant! The only place to stay in Camiguin

The place to stay Camiguin! We were contacted by the owner a few days before our trip because he wanted to come and pick us up from the airport! That was just the first in a long line of positives! The hotel room was very nice and the bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there. The wifi was really good the best we experienced on our island hopping tour. The pool is really good and the breakfast was really really good. Real bread, fresh fruits, hot chocolate, tea, coffee you name it! Jerome told us everything there was to see on the island and recommended what to do and what not to do. We rented his motorbike and and everything was just a breeze and plain sailing. We will def stay again!

Didnt know what to expect. It is truly a boutique property in thst this nice guy Jerome the owner lives on site and is available to drive you back and forth to restaurants and to make recommendations what things to see each day. Optional breakfast 450p served by beach excellent and extremely generous. Owner is French and knows good quality and one of nicest people you will ever meet

Lucky to Stay at SomeWhere Else Boutique Resort

I'm grateful to have been able to book this property for myself and my family this past week. The resort was available to accommodate all seven of us so we had the place all to ourselves. Almost immediately after booking, the property reached out to us to make sure they could arrange transportation for all of us coming to Camiguin. The driver, Andrew, was exceptionally accommodating to make sure we had complete access to all of Camiguin. Even though the resort is private and somewhat secluded, we could count on Andrew to take us on tours and suggest restaurants for us to try. The property itself is beautiful, and we had easy access to our own private beach. The rooms are uniquely and exquisitely designed, and the staff went above and beyond to provide endless ammenities such as specialty teas and coffees at no extra charge. I absolutely have no cons about our experience, except that we couldn't stay longer! Hopefully the resort will be available for us next year when we return.

Hospitality at its finest

Somewhere Else is hands down the best place we've stayed in after a two week trip to the Philippines. The pictures online don't do this place justice. It's everything I could wish for in a resort. Andrew was our tour guide for the day and a half we were in Camiguin. He and the staff were lovely and really made our experience on the island one to remember. Customer service doesn't get better than what you get at Somewhere Else :)

A wonderful place to stay on Camiguin Island!

I will just say that SomeWhere Else Boutique Resort totallly exceeded our expectations in every regard! The quiet tranquility of the location combined with the very comfortable and modern facilities, and the caring attention of the owner and staff made our stay on Camiguin Island one of our most memorable ones! Any requests from the staff are quickly and enthusiasticlly responed to, making us feel pampered and wanting for nothing during our stay. Even things we didn't think to ask, they tended to beforehand, for example, if we spent the day out and removed the "power key" used for energy conservation, the staff would be sure to replace it around 4-5pm so that we returned to a clean and comfortably cool room again. Another notable perk is that morning breakfasts were on our schedule, so we could rise early or late, and never be late for breakfast on the beach! And speaking of the beach access, it is not a private beach, but it felt like it was our own private beach. If you're curious what to do on Camiguin Island, the owner will go out of his way to share his experience to ensure you get directions and the best recommendations where to go and where to eat! We eagerly followed his dining suggestions after the first one led us to a superb dinner location! He even offered to chauffuer us there and back if we didn't want to ride the scooter or trike taxi! This resort easily deserves the highest rating in all the categories listed! We will definitely be going back!
