"We asked for aground floor as we do not do well with steps and they put us in an annex which was obviously new and was just right for us. Our fault that we didn't ask for clean towels etc. The staff are all very welcoming and the meals variable and very enjoyable."

"For someone who doesn't drive, this is a perfect spot, 10mins walk from train station, and local village, bus right outside property going to whitby and the moors. Accommodation itself perfect, everything you need and the hot tub was a bonus, very quiet area"

"We were blown away with this lodge, the cleanliness, the thoughful decor, the comfort, and how well equipped it is. The location is great, it's so beautiful sitting outside watching the lake. Everything is very accessable, my elderly grandmother managed the stairs fine, the shower was great for her to get in and out of. Beds are comfortable and so are the chairs and sofa.
