Very convenient location next to the car park close to where I was going on my short spring holiday. The rooms had a comfortable big bed and a lovely bath, separate shower and toilet. Thank you.

This was a last-minute getaway for me and my wife. We have four young kids and two older ones, and the youngest had been poorly, so we weren’t going to go. But we found this property and decided to book for one night. Although it was a little further than I would usually like for a one-night stay, it was absolutely worth it. Shannon has done an amazing job with the place — the pictures really don’t do it justice. The bed was super comfy, and the room was so spacious. It had everything you needed, and the host was quick to reply to messages. Can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful suite❤️

Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!

Great rooms our second time staying at staycation and different suite this time everything went smoothly check in etc but no hot water in the room, wouldn’t have been a big issue but with it being December and the solution being to run across the hallway to another unit was cold Shanon was as helpful as she could be but with the cost of the stay this should have been checked before hand with a PPM check Out first stay in the de vere suite was a great stay but this time unfortunately wasn’t so good

No checking in service at all. No prior instructions were given. We were helped into our apartment by the lady who owns the jewellers downstairs. We were woken at 6.45am on a Sunday to the sound of scaffolders and a traffic management company setting up to commence install scaffolding at 7am on the building we are in with no prior communication from the host this would be happening otherwise I wouldn't have booked there. By 8am there was a workman outside my first floor bedroom window so I had to close the curtains so I had no privacy. Contacted Expedia at 7am about the issue and they're still investigating 5 hours later to be told "they're just the booking agents" and in messaged the host at 6.45 with my horror at the situation and haven't had any communication from them since. I am sincerely hoping for a refund of my £160 as paying a premium to not have any privacy and be up on a Sunday before 7am not to be able to use the facilities in the morning from being stated at by workers outside my own bedroom.. not worth the extra monday at all. Utterly disappointed and shambolic
