  • This stunning holiday penthouse in Malaga is located on the 8th floor of a building overlooking the famous Plaza de la Merced, the birthplace of Picasso.



    On the first floor of this unique property, you will find three modern bedrooms: the first one with a double bed (150 x 200 cm), the second one with 2 single beds (90 x 200 cm), and the last one with a large single bed (135 x 190 cm), sleeping a total of 5 people. Right next to the bedrooms, you will find two large bathrooms with shower.



    This modern holiday apartment in Malaga city centre is set on two levels with two large terraces.



    On the main floor, the terrace features a shaded dining room area to enjoy lunch or dinner al fresco. The huge upper terrace can be used as a solarium during the day with its comfortable sun loungers, or to relax in the chill-out area in the evening. The rooftop terrace features breathtaking views over the Alcazaba Moorish castle, the Cathedral and the city.

Beautiful apartment .

We loved our stay at this apartment, the terrace is just fabulous! Lovely and clean with all the amenities you need. Location is brilliant, so central. Great communication with Solaga, they organised a transfer for us and a travel cot. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely visit again.

This year there was some noise from the new construction, but we were prepared for it, so it was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was centrally located and near restaurants, bars, and attractions. The rooftop was beautiful and enjoyed spending time with eating tapas, drinking wine, and taking in the views. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend.

We will be booking this place again on our next visit. Extremely clean, amazing location, and so comfortable to spend an afternoon. The terraces were the perfect place to spend an afternoonevening with some wine. The restaurants, cafes, and bars in La Plaza de la Merced right outside the front door were so much fun and there is even a grocery store in the plaza as well.

Literally one block away from the old town. Can also walk right downstairs and start a beautiful hike to overlook the entire city. The rooftop at night is out of this world!

Fabulous apartment in the heart of Malaga town

We particularly loved the large terraces overlooking the whole of Malaga. The upper Terrace has a panoramic view and is stunning from morning to night. Would definitely stay here again It would be nice to have a small welcome package, including water in the fridge, but otherwise everything perfect from Solaga. Would always use Solaga when staying in Malaga.

The outside space was amazing and the facilities, including the bathrooms and kitchen were excellent. The smoke alarm in the bedroom kept going off in the last couple of days.

Lovely apartment with great views.

The views from the terraces were great and the apartment is in a vey good location next to the old town. The A/C worked really well and our welcome and departure with Carlos was friendly and helpful. A few basic items would have been nice.

Appartment with incredible views

The property has two terraces on two levels. The roof deck was very spacious and allowes to absorb the vibes of the city from the rooftop. We appreciated the incredible views. Fantastic location of the appartment gives you the perfect combination of a good neighborhood (restaurants, bars, patisseries, groceries etc) with a space to relax in. Great jump-off point to explore the city from. Malagueta beach 15 min walking from the appartment.

Hot floor on balcony !!

The flat was just as the pictures, great view, aircondition needs a manual...outdoor shower was very usefull, all shops you need in the area, very central location for trips around Malaga, beware ...floor on terraces gets VERY hot during the day...shoes a must transport from and to airport was booked and was also 5 stars. I'll be back !

Great apartment with fantastisk terrasse with amazing view! Good apartment. I am glad that I had read other reviews here before, so I was prepared that the fasade of the building is old/uggly. Great location with walking distanse to everything we needen. Negative things is that one of the bedrooms has lots of noise from elevator and only a window to the elevator room. There is also noise from construction work around the building. But we have had a great time, and loved the apartment. And we will be back for sure!

Amazing accomodation

Great location in the old town, close to so many lovely bars and restaurants and still only a10 minute walk to the beach The outside terraces were superb with lots of space for everyone and great views The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The Solaga representatives we met on arrival and departure were so lovely. It was great that we were able to check in a little bit early and leave a little bit later - that was really appreciated - thank you so much. I would always book with Solaga in Malaga. I appreciate that this is outside of the control of Solaga and the apartment but the building works next door are really noisy. Work started at 7.30am and a crane was often moving across the terraces which was somewhat disconcerting.

Alcazaba penthouse apartment

This apartment is brilliantly located beside Plaza de la Merced looking directly over the Alcazaba. It's a 5 minute walk to the cathedral down the lovely Calle Alcazabilla or Calle Granada and close to the beach. The 2 terraces are even better then the photos suggest with the best views in Málaga. The rooms are airy and light and the decor is modern and minimalist. The aircon is great, especially welcome as it was very warm during our stay. The lift is a huge bonus as it's 8 floors up. I'd absolutely recommend a stay. The stay was really great although a small problem with the aircon took a little while to fix, despite the team responding immediately. Once the team knew the problem wasn't fixed they came back to sort it out. They also followed up with us afterwards which we really appreciated. We will definitely book again with Solaga.

Nice Location

The location is very nice and it is across from a plaza with many food options. The check-in process wasn’t too easy and there is some opportunity for improvement. You cannot stop in front of the building to take your bags out if you have a rental so expect to take your bags From the parking garage to the property. Parking garages are not guaranteed to have availability nearby. We selected this property specifically for parking because it is advertised that it has parking. However, you have to let them know that you need a car spot prior to your arrival and they will provide you a parking spot that is reserved for the property. I do not know if it is an extra cost because it was available for us, but the property manager told us we could not use it because we are not locals and we would risk getting a ticket from a police officer For inappropriate parking in their reserved parking spot. So this should be clarified within the post. The elevator is very scary hold max four people and needs some serious mechanical attention. The elevator to get up to the eighth floor got stuck on one of our days and we had to walk up & down eight floors. The kitchen has a nice view. The living room has a very nice view as well. When you use the showers, a foul sewer smell comes up and takes a while to air out. Overall nice property, but some room improvement on the service side and the elevator.
