"This cabin and beautiful location was perfect for us. We were able to visit with our family in Makinen, soak in the beauty of Northern MN, and relax on Leisure Lake all in one trip. Lots of space and comfortable seating to gather with family inside and outside. We really enjoyed watching wildlife at the bird feeders a kayaking around the lake — very fun! Next time, we want to get geared up and try out fishing. Thank you!!"

"This home is clean, well-equipped and as comfortable as any VRBO we have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of every detail. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. The living room is comfortable. The upstairs bedroom is cozy with plenty of storage space. We had everything we needed. We only stayed one night but would have happily spent a lot longer here. "We enjoyed our stay. My dad, brother, nephew and I stayed here to bike the Mesabi trail. Loved how close it was to the trail and that it was central to the trail. Was able to bike the whole trail staying here. Just did a few drives about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to bike the further parts of the trail. We liked we each had our own bed and able to relax comfortably and be able to cook meals. Liked there was a garage to use to keep our bicycles in it. Would stay here again if we came to bike...
