"We enjoyed our stay at Makeney Hall. The first night we arrived late and the couch pull out bed had no sheets or blankets. The front desk staff was very kind and went and found what we needed and we were very grateful. The room was nice size and the grounds were very beautiful."

"On arrival the staff was very helpful. Rooms not the cleanest. A lot of cobwebs & spiders, bad marks in the bathroom that could have been cleaned easy. Toilet seat very loose & wobbly. Water left in the kettle, not sure how long for so wouldn’t use it. Hair dryer, iron & iron board in the room ready ..."

Nice and friendly
"Nice and comfy room. Friendly and helpful staff. I also liked that you can easily get a snack or drink at reception at any time. I would only suggest to add something else to the complimentary breakfast, some more food options but I can’t complain."
