"Everything was as I had expected. Beautiful ocean views. The rooms were beautiful and big. The pictures were right on spot. We did not need any cooking equipment. They had everything you could possibly need. The outside was absolutely beautiful. Only a minute walk to beach or swimming pool. I did my first ever snorkeling. It didn’t cost a thing. They have beach chairs umbrellas ice chest. What ever you need to be comfortable for the beach including towels. "

Condo could use some refreshing but didn't detract much from our stay on beautiful Maui. "

"best possible place to stay. Hale O Honu is absolutely unique. The house is outfitted with everything you’ll need. There’s plenty of extra snorkel masks, fins, and shoes. We spent mornings swimming and snorkeling, mid day touring the island or hiking, then great evenings at home watching the sunsets before tribal council. Most mornings there were sea turtles on the beach sunning in the back yard. I cannot recommend highly enough. Location, location, location. "

"Property is in nice shape, just as advertised. Pool and beach area are lovely. We grilled at the pool and had everything we needed there. A good addition to the property would be vending machines or a snack area by the beach. Looking forward to another trip to Makena Suef ."
