Navigating the circular staircase required extra care…but fun and innovative for younger folks. We had just a bit of a challenge in getting to the right place - the address given didn’t match the property, but was quickly resolved.We would recommend the location - lots to do in the area."

"I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! "

"This rental house was as pictured. It was clean, it was lake adjacent, it housed my family adequately. There was nothing special about this unit that justified its cost. After fees were included--one of which was a very high cleaning fee that came in addition to cleaning tasks we were required to do--there was nothing about this cabin that justified how high the rental price was. What you see is (mostly) what you get. The main photo shows the lake, it doesn't show you that this house is set back...

"This was a perfect location for our family to meet with friends from out of town. The house has a luxurious cabin feel, and there are plenty of spaces for people to spread out and play games or talk. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which made it easy for us to cook up some favorite meals. The property manager was friendly and responsive to questions we had. The bathroom was small so room to get ready for a big event would have to be managed but the shower was nice and the water hot. It is near restaurants and shops. Our only complaint was the road noise was very loud at night. We stayed over SIU graduation weekend."

"We had a blast at this comfortable home. We didn’t so much but lounge around, playing games and eating. The kitchen was well stocked and we never felt like we didn’t have anything we needed. The bath towels were luxurious and not those thin towels hotels use. Would have liked a softer lamp or something in the living room as the only light came from the overhead ceiling fans. I can see where this place would be great for a summer vacation!"

"We booked a long weekend here for my dad’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The home has been nicely updated but still contained plenty of original touches that have it character. The outside space was great! We spent a lot of time on the deck, used the grill and fire pit, and of course the lake! We were very impressed with all of the lake toys the shed offered, especially the kayaks. The inside was set up perfectly for our group and our teenager appreciated her own space...
