This was a magical experience. The host is extremely generous and the property is a delightful surprise around every corner. From the beautiful decor to the adorable huge jar of marshmallows - we relaxed, felt spoiled and special, and this led to a priceless family experience. Just go!

The Gardeners quarters is lovely and comfortable and perfect for a couple looking for a little privacy. The grounds are beautiful and lovely to walk around We found the accomodation to be well presented and an easy drive from the Hunter Valley

This is a beautiful opportunity to step back in time - the house is stunning! Our suite was beautifully clean and comfortable, the furniture and added touches made it more special. We loved meeting Serena (apologies if name spelled incorrectly!) and wandering in her beautiful garden - a huge unexpected oasis!

Beautiful old home
We very much enjoyed our stay in the Tocal Suite, a queen bedroom with adjoining quirky lounge area (old library), modern bathroom and external access. The grounds are extensive and beautiful so we strolled around them in the afternoon before heading to Maitland city centre for dinner (a 20 minute walk, no hills). The rooms were decorated beautifully with lots of old books and the bed was comfortable. Our only issues were a sticky spot on the rug in the lounge and the coffee pod machine didn't work properly but still enjoyed our stay

Garden Studio stay
What a delight! We had such a restful sleep and the surrounding gardens were a joy. Morning coffee on the terrace was a peaceful way to start the day.

Stunning Regents Park
A very enjoyable visit to the Gardeners Cottage in the Regents Park. Small cosy accommodation overlooking the gorgeous walled swimming pool. The 5 acres of garden are absolutely beautiful.

Just stayed the one night on a business trip. Beautiful cottage and wonderful peaceful garden to walk through. No front desk but just took a phone call to access through a security code. The complimentary water, snacks a nice added touch. Even had a coffee machine. Will have no hesitation in staying again. Very comfortable.

The property had a very quiet relaxing feel about it, grounds looked very peaceful but was raining when we stayed so couldn’t explore outside. Good place to stay if you wanted a quiet getaway would stay again if needed.

The tenants who living at the front mansion seems having fun even after hour, I was woken up in the middle of the night by splashing of water and their music, I was unhappy.

Beautiful Colonial House
We were here for a wedding and it was a perfect retreat, peaceful, quiet, with absolutely wonderful gardens, swimming pool, extraordinary rooms and many, many books and an endless supply of Nespresso. What is not to like? (Answer: my husband wanted more coat hangers in our room!) :-)

Nice suite in attractive house
The suite was not only clean and comfortable but interesting, particularly the library. The gardens were a surprise and well worth exploring. Checking in and out was easy. I would happily stay again.

Quick accommodation
Quaint house , needs more window coverage to block out early morning light and sensor light . However still if you bring all of the food , the room has fridge .

Great place to stay, gardens stunning
Really great place to stay, Mind you either have a good memory or paper and pencil to jot down the access code to the room. Gardens will be stunning once the refurbishment is complete. Really relaxing with no traffic noise, and, for me just a short walk to where I was working, and really an easy walk into Maitland
