Our stay at The Bird House Spa was great. We were in the area for a wedding and this place fit our needs- plenty of room, everything we needed (kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, etc)These hosts were very responsive and the fun decor was an added bonus!

This property is very clean and the hosts have put thought into making their house very modern with spa-like features. We also enjoyed thier game room. There are wonderful restaurants in the area, as well. We recommend Parea Greek Taverna and Agave Azul

We had a HORRIBLE experience at this property the worst being major bathroom plumbing issues. My family and I ended up leaving the house after staying only 1 night out of the 4 nights we had booked because the master bath got flooded with water that also made the second bathroom unusable. We were also rudely treated and insulted by the host who told my mother, who’s in her 70s, to shower outside since both bathrooms were completely unusable. He also added if we're too shy to shower outside because of neighbors then we should wear bathing suits. After checking out early and foregoing the remainder of our reservation we were falsely accused of causing the plumbing damage and threatened by the host that they may charge us. I’ve shared evidence with Vrbo support.This could happen to anyone staying here so be careful.Some other notes from our stay:•Someone claiming to be the home's owner stopped by unannounced before the bathroom flooded to drop off chairs and feminine, bathroom wipes that we never used thankfully. She said a previous guest broke one or two chairs and she was replacing them•We found a couple of bags of breast milk in the freezer left behind by previous guests•An opened bottle of wine on the kitchen counter left behind by previous guests•Broken coffee mug left out for guests to use•Our dog found a previous guests used sock and was running around with it in her mouth
Flooded master bathroom that we had to use a lot of towels on so water didn't get into the master bedroom
Towels and mats were completely soaked
Master bathroom sink almost overflowed after we washed our hands just after arriving. Very slow to drain, but a sign above the sink says slow drainage is by design
Items left by previous guests in the freezer including breast milk on the right shelf.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Bird House Spa in Winterpark. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even nicer than the pictures. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We loved how each room had a special theme. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was perfect, and we truly felt at home throughout our visit. The grandchildren and the adults all enjoyed the game room as well. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun and stress-free stay. We would absolutely book again! We had a great stay. Love all the amenities that was included with the house…game room, jacuzzi, comfortable beds, even the sauna. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The house was just perfect with plenty of space for everyone. 10/10

Wedding weekend

Great space for family gathering

We stayed at the Bird House Spa for my daughter's graduation from Rollins College in nearby Winter Park. The house was so convenient to the graduation and to all stores/shopping in the area. Given our large family (8) we really made use of the common spaces - which were lovely and well configured to allow mingling and multiple conversations. Everyone used the amenities - we especially loved the massage chair. My boys spent a good amount of time in the game room playing pool, and they had a great time doing a cold plunge challenge followed by the sauna. The house was well stocked and had any item we needed. We loved all the funky decor and how each room had its own theme. Overall it was a lovely weekend and we were very comfortable in this unique home!

Fun and convenient in Winter Park/Maitland area

We had a group of 7 stay at the Bird House for a long weekend, visiting relatives nearby for a family reunion. We enjoyed our stay and would return.The Bird House is easy to find. It's on a moderately busy street, and we occasionally heard noise from motorcycles and other loud vehicles. Communication with the property manager was clear and responsive.The home is roomy and clean. Amenities are plentiful, and everything (furniture, appliances, gameroom, etc.) is up to date.The decor is quirky, centered around the bird theme, creating a fun vibe. We especially liked hanging out on the screened-in porch in the evenings.Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Amazing house and amenities!

The bird house was great. Very comfortable living spaces. So much to do. We kept finding fun things (pool table, air hockey, hot tub, etc...) Everything worked great. Good location. Everything we wanted and more!

Awesome vacation spot!

The house has been remodeled and is amazing. From the sauna and jacuzzi to the pool table, foosball and air hockey and all the other great features this house offers, we had a great time with so much to do. Our family really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this property!
