  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

The home was clean and comfortable. There are a few problems that need to be addressed. The fireplace did not work until we turned on the gas and lit the pilot light (which should have already been done prior to our arrival) and it would run for 45 minutes an cut off automatically. The local reps have a service order for repair. The garage is VERY musty and possibly moldy - this also needs to be addressed as it may be a health hazard. We did not use the garage for that reason.My only other suggestion is to fix the light in the kitchen exhaust which lights the cooktop and the door lock and thermostat are not very user friendly. Otherwise all was well.

Peaceful location, beautiful home

Beautiful home and peaceful location with the creek next door lulling us to sleep. Unfortunately, the lights stopped working in one of the bathrooms and was not addressed during our stay. Would have liked a discount for that inconvenience but since the host was a third-party company, no sympathy was given and communication was sterile and impersonal. The linens weren't gross or anything but they are overdue for updating. Otherwise, the home was clean and quiet at night (neighbor nearby was blasting music during the day). The bear theme was cute and the home was spacious and comfortable for a family to stay in.

Our stay at Little Bear was such a joy.

We stayed there for one week and had wonderful time. The location is GREAT, private and yet very convenient. The house is very cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped and super functional. The internet is very reliable (we worked remotely a bit). We'd love to return some day. Improvements? 1) a more eye-catching roadside sign would be helpful since you can hardly see the house from road. We missed it the first time driving by in the dark. 2) the house is very clear but the carpet in bedrooms looks a bit frowsy.

We liked the property. Labeling the light switches would be very helpful. Driveway was a little scary. Bathrooms are beautiful and function well. View of the leaves and mountains was breath taking. Thanks for sharing with us.

Perfect family spot

We drove up from FL to meet our boys in college for Easter. We all had a great time playing pool and poker in the game room. Did some fishing in the area and used the well stocked kitchen to cook Easter dinner. Had everything we needed. Highly recommended

Nice, clean Maggie Valley home

The home is in a good location. Clean and decorated well. The oven was broken and no one let us know before we arrived. I made casseroles for our stay. I called Vasaca and found out they knew it was broken and they credited me $25 a day. The remote for the Main TV was hidden so it took a while to turn the TV on. I would suggest supplying more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels. You might want to bring extra for your stay. The game room is not connected to the house and is in the separate garage. It is heated by an electric fireplace so you will want to make sure it is on and warms up beforehand. Bring firewood for the fire pit. Beautiful view and overall a good, clean home to rent.
