    The Space:

    Welcome to your woodsy retreat. Surrounded by trees, wineries, and walking trails, this two-bedroom home is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Join together around the firepit, or sit on the covered deck and marvel at the amazing mountain views beyond. An open floor plan offers plenty of room to spread out and comes designed with group gatherings in mind. After whipping up your favorite creations in the kitchen, gather for some quality time with friends and family in the comfortable living room, complete with a fireplace. Home essentials include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.



    Winter sports enthusiasts rejoice! Cataloochee Ski Area is only a handful of blocks from your door. There's plenty to do in Maggie Valley in spring, summer, and fall, too. Picturesque hikes at Soco Falls and Waterrock Knob are within seven miles from home, and French Broad Rafting and Ziplines offers adrenaline-fueled adventures within an easy drive. From biking to fishing and ziplining, the cabin is close to a plethora of outdoor activities. Explore Soco Falls for hiking and rock climbing within a short drive. Great little cabin near the slopes

Enjoyed our family stay for a little ski getaway. Cabin had a nice view and wasn't hard to get to.

Mountain Getaway

Majestic views from the covered deck and outdoor seating areas. Recently and tastefully renovated, with new floors and appliances. Secluded enough to unplug but close enough to numerous activities and shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Great property

What a great location, close to Waynesville, Cherokee and activities in Maggie Valley. We had a wonderful weekend, and the property had all the things we needed for our weekend. We enjoyed sitting outside on the wrap around porch and then snuggling inside by the fireplace. The property was very clean and comfortable. Great location and great property.

We loved this cabin. The view was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. But be aware that the caution about the road being rough and need for four wheel drive is no joke.

Beautiful and clean cabin

The cabin was so clean and stocked with everything you need for a stay in the mountains. It rained all the way there, all 3 days inside and on the way home. Directions called for 4 wheel drive, which was a necessity.

Not quite handicapped accessible

The interior of the cabin was spotless. However even though it had a wheelchair ramp the doorways were too small to fit the chair through. The view was breathtaking but a little more emphasis on the road conditions would have been nice.

Great get-away!

The house was very clean, and cozy. Everything was new and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the shower, and fireplace were great additions. We enjoyed the fire pit and the amazing views of the mountains. We also enjoyed hiking up the mountain and the surrounding area. Our daughter lives in Waynesville, so it was an easy commute to visit. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We definitely look forward to future stays in your wonderful home.

Serenity and Views

The picturesque view and peaceful atmosphere allowed us to completely disconnect and unwind. We relished in the chance to read on the deck as the sun set, accompanied by our furry friends. The daily hummingbird visits were the cherry on top of an already unforgettable experience! After the first day, the drive to the cabin isn't so bad in a 4x4 vehicle. I was nervous on the first day, but my husband was not. Overall, I think it added to our experience!

Mountain View

If you are looking for a mountain view that is pretty much in the center of Western North Carolina then this is a good location. I will warn you of the hike up and down the home. At least 6 minutes up and down. Road is narrow and I would advise to use it during the day. Otherwise beautiful scenery and a very quiet getaway.

Great views and porch

Loved the location. The wrap around porch is wonderful. So peaceful. Beds were comfortable. We used the fire pit and fireplace. Kitchen was nice. Good amount of dishes and utensils. Cute town. Bearwaters brewery was a pretty spot with a nice view of the creek. Short drive to asheville. New Belgium brewery is a big beautiful spot also. Soco falls was beautiful. Loved Hole donuts in Asheville!!! Definitely would come again.

Short Weekend Away

This is a great small cabin. We enjoyed our weekend away. The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed. However it states there is AC. We did not see any. We opened all the windows and used the ceiling fans. Thankfully the afternoon heat turned into nice evenings so we were comfortable. Otherwise it is a great cabin. The road is a little rough to get there but we don’t have any issues and don’t have 4WD.

Our stay was very nice! It's a nice home in a quiet area. We could hear the music from the Hillbilly Jam from the porch, which let us enjoy the music without being downtown! The beds & pillows were nice & soft, LOVED that! I would recommend putting AC's in both rooms. It does get stuffy without AC's in all rooms. I will say, our stay was during Maggie Valley's "heat wave" (80 temps), but overall, it was not unbearable. When we arrived, the hood light & Keurig coffee maker did not work. My husband got the Keurig working. One AC unit kept throwing a code & would not stay running when the code was thrown.
