This is a wonderful, very clean cabin that has a loft king bed and ground floor bedroom with a queen bed. The couch may open into a bed as well, but we didn't check. There are plenty of kitchen tools, pans and utensils; we even had a choice of a k-cup machine or a brewing machine for coffee. The towels are very clean and soft, but there are not many, so maybe bring a couple of your own. The owner simply asks that you do not use their white towels for cleaning purposes such as make up, floors, vehicles and the like and they provide rags for those purposes.
The hot tub is of good size, is very clean and heats up as it should. It faces outward toward the wooded mountain from the back of the cabin but is in view of the neighboring cabin, so bring your bathing suit :-).
The cabin warms up nicely and has plenty of windows. There's a wrap porch on two sides. The photos lead one to believe that the porch/deck is elevated, but it isn't. And, the cabin is not as isolated as the photos suggest. This didn't bother us at all, but if you are looking to get away from immediate neighbors, this is not a good choice. We love the location, which is just off of Socco Road with a minimally steep climb on a paved road.
We've stayed in quite a few places in Maggie, all of them farther up the mountain in hopes of seeing wildlife, but it was at Crazy Wolf that we saw the most forest animals. There's a beautiful gang of wild turkeys that come through twice a day, deer, birds of many types and gray squirrels.
We would definitely consider staying again at Crazy Wolf, or one of the other nearby cabins.
