  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Everyone had a great time. This house was very accommodating. We brought our dogs which went everywhere with us. Maggie Valley, Waynesville and surrounding towns are very pet friendly.

Lovely stay to visit family

Our stay was wonderful! Our family lives a block away so that was perfect. The cabin was cute and quaint and perfect for us. We were close to all bunch fun places like skiing and snowboarding, waterfalls, and snow tubing!

Nice little cabin on the hill

Nice little cabin with plenty of room inside for us. It was very nice to sit outside by the fire pit and just relax a little for the busy weekend we had going on!!! Thank you very much for a great stay!

Lovely and Cozy

Perfect base camp between many sites to see. Our favorite thing to do is hiking to see waterfalls and Soco and Mingo falls are very close. If you like driving through the beautiful mountains then Cades Cove is a lovely drive.

Amazing property and host

I wish I can give 10 stars! The property is fabulous, even better in person then in pictures, well equipped and decorated. Hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, and they are super responsive. We highly recommend it, we hope to come back really soon.

Wedding Weekend

We were 3 couples attending a wedding and I was fortunate enough to find this lovely mountain home in Maggie Valley. It was beautiful and very well taken care of. Our host was amazing and prompt in answering questions. The amenities that she offered were great and we had everything we needed to make our stay excellent. Very comfy, quiet and in the middle of lush green mountains. Also very accessible to Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee. A fun time was had by all!!

Family Vacation

We wanted to be close to the interests we had and this property was perfect. We were able to drive to Wheels Through Time, Cherokee, and Bryson City within minutes while still being able to have the quiet cottage experience. The owners were wonderful with communication and provided all the information needed to make our stay one of the best yet. I would highly recommend this VRBO for vacation or just a get away. Loved it!

Family visit to the Mountains

Very unique cabin in the heart of Maggie Valley. Great place to stay with everything you need in kitchen to have a meals in. Over the years we’ve been to several cabins in the area this one of the best we’ve stayed at. Also the parking is great, accommodates at least 3 vehicles easily and very easy to get in and out of. Will definitely stay here in the future if needed.

Wonderful Maggie Valley Cabin!

My family spent a long winter weekend in Balsam Retreat and absolutely loved our stay. The beds were comfortable, the heat worked well and everything was clean and well stocked for our visit. We enjoyed making a fire in the fireplace and will definitely be back!

Wonderful little cabin with REALLY comfortable beds!

We wanted a little getaway before being home for Christmas and ski with our kiddos. The home is super close to the ski resort and and Tube world! The beds were so super comfy, and the home was extremely clean! The only “off” thing were the pictures posted portray the home as extremely spacious and the home isn’t AS spacious as the pictures portray, but still roomy enough for sure! It just made us chuckle when we walked in! Loved the Christmas tree touch and all the pans,,utensils, etc that made cooking super easy! The fireplace was our most favorite feature of the home. So so cozy. Great decor, and overall great stay.

Lovely Fall Getaway

Great Time

This cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was clean and everything needed was provided. If I has to have one thing I didn't appreciate, it would be we weren't able to stay longer. 🙂 The owners were always in contact and making sure our stay was everything we hoped for. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking.

Cute and quirky

Quirky little house in Maggie Valley. Very quiet, peaceful. Comfy beds. Owners left a card on the table for us to read when we arrived which was a very thoughtful touch. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Close to Cherokee, Waynesville, Cataloochee Valley, etc. It was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again!
