Wonderful Stay in Madrid

This was a great find and is seriously 15 to 20 mins. from everything: Prado, Palacio Royal, markets, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. Everything was clean and we made a lot of use of the kitchen. The host did a great job communicating and was very helpful at checkin and departure. We would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to travel back to Madrid. The Bergers

Es ideal para dos parejas, el apartamento está muy bien y fiel a su descripción. Es interior y esto es un plus en cuanto a que se descansa muy bien, no se escucha nada y además es luminoso. La ubicación es fabulosa, todo muy cerquita. Muy recomendable!!

Lovely apartment in great area

This apartment was lovely, very clean! It’s an interior apartment facing the courtyard so no street noise at all, although noise from other residents (to be expected). I think the listing needs to be updated, as some of the information no longer applies (confirmed by message from the owner), they no longer supply any food for breakfast, and I found the Wi-Fi information to be lacking. No big deal, I am big on communication, that is the only reason I mention lt. I would recommend this apartment and stay here again! It’s a perfect location for Madrid!

Agréable séjour

L'appartement est très bien situé et permet d'avoir accès rapidement aux principaux attraits touristiques de Madrid. Une dame nous a accueillis et nous a expliqué rapidement ce qu'on retrouve dans l'appartement. Il faut savoir que toutes les fenêtres donnent sur une cour intérieure et qu'il n'y a pas de climatiseur. Par contre, il y a plusieurs ventilateurs. L'immeuble et le quartier sont très tranquilles. La cuisine est bien équipée et on a accès à une laveuse à linge. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Madrid.

Quick trip to Madrid

Great location for walking to the Prado and other sites and restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Our host was very helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions to a nearby grocery store.

Adequate

Older property with an excellent location. Could use some minor updating. Needs to replace bed in the main bedroom. Needs 1 additional hairdryer. Needs a new espresso machine that accepts commonly found pods. We searched every store around and could not purchase any replacements. That being said, we enjoyed our stay, because it is really well located for the price.

Perfect location

This property was perfect for our family. It is located in a perfect area full of great restaurants and within walking distances of the busy/touristy areas we also wanted to visit. The apartment is lovely and communication with the host was friendly and helpful.

Great location in central Madrid

My sisters and I stayed for a couple of nights, closing out our stay in Spain. Property managers were great and very helpful with recommendations & tips for the local area. Apartment is in close proximity to Prado museum and many restaurants. Thank you Sol and crew!

Great property

Great location but…

The location is great. Walking distance to the Prado and Reina Sofia. Good neighborhood, safe, Plaza San Agustin, lots of restaurants. Negatives: no A/C, only 1 TV, no international cable. Manager was great amd good communication.

Nice apartment in an interesting neighborhood

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sol’s apartment in Madrid Centro. The neighborhood, Las Letras, is just west of The Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums is a vibrant one with many cafes, tapas bars and restaurants. The apartment is an easy walk-up – on the second floor – but there is also a lift for your arrival and departure with luggage. The generous and well-laid-out space itself is just as pictured on the VRBO site with beautiful hardwood floors, two generous bedrooms with ample closet space, two roomy bathrooms and a smallish but workable kitchen. (Certainly not the smallest kitchen I’ve used in Europe.) We only prepared breakfasts there; but you could cook if you wanted to eat in. It was nice and quiet for sleeping. A washing machine was a welcome plus. Good security locks on the inside of the door. Sol was a responsive host through VRBO and someone met us for check-in, going over all the details of the apartment. All in all, a very nice city apartment; we would certainly stay there again.

Family stay

We had a great time at Sol’s place after Christmas through New Year’s Day! We walked everywhere and enjoyed all the restaurants that were around the apartment. The apartment was plenty big for the four of us. I loved how they had coffee there for us and someone was waiting for us to let us know what was nearby when we got there. Agar was especially helpful. You are about a block or two from the Prado and Retiro park. Many other neighborhoods nearby are fun to walk through and experience. We didn’t take a cab anywhere. We walked between 5 and 9 miles a day!
