We were very comfortable; liked the location near metro and shops. Could not get elevator to work going down on floors four and three. Loved the picture window. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great place

This property was in a fabulous location. Hosts were very responsive especially when it came to the major power outages. Checkin was a bit awkward since there was construction and the floor levels had been painted over but once we viewed the directions in more detail, they were good.

Beautiful, fully equipped apt. Quiet street but central to everything.

The location could not be more perfect for central Madrid. The apt is beautiful and we had plenty of space for 3 adults. We would definitely book again when we return to Madrid. Vanessa was very responsive and detailed in her instructions which we appreciated.

Très bien situé

Appart confortable. Photos fidèles. Près de tout à pied. Explications pour ouvrir la première fois confuses mais réaction rapide du locateur. Quelques soirées très bruyantes, nous avons couché dans la chambre arrière.

Strong smell of mold, small beds, no a/c, water pours inside apartment when it rains

Heavy smell of mold right from the beginning which is awful for people with allergies like me. Beds are small, like full size, shower with mold on the grout, shower was clogged, washing machine door gets stuck, only 1 person fits in the elevator. Bedroom corner wall had severe water damage. Only 1 out of 2 mini split a/c unit was working. Building with all walls cracked with exposed bricks and debris. Apartment is on the 4th floor so when it rains, water comes into the bedroom byv the a/c, same in the livingroom and also thru the kitchen ceiling and it will flood. Eventually water started to disappear in between the baseboard and the floor by the bathroom. People on the 3rd floor came knocking to tell us they had water coming thru their ceiling. Don't expect them to answer your call out of their business hours monday to Fridayfrom 10am to 6pm. Other than this, the apartament layout is nice and great location.

Heavy mold, poor communication, flooded during heavy rain

The building is in bad shape, with broken walls all over, exposed bricks, holes ans debris like if it is under construction. Elevator is super tight, only 1 person can fit. Apartment has a very strong smell of mold, only 1 out of 2 mini splits a/c units work. Shower was clogged. Washing machine door doesn't open, you have to call them to come open but, they do not answer any call out of their work schedule which is Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, if you all out of that time you are out of luck. The apartament flooded one morning with heavy rain, the water also affected the people on the lower floor, they came knocking in our door. The only good thing in this apartment is the layout and location. Other than that, is awful and should not be rented knowing all these bad conditions, especially having mold which made us sick, especially me that that suffer from severe allergies and asthma.

Magic in Madrid

Fabulous location. A great apartment that contains everything you need with style and comfort. A small lift will take you to #4 then just down a small flight of stairs. Great communication with host. Had a lovely stay

Great location; needs some attention

The location of this apartment is very conveniently located in Madrid, a couple of blocks from Gran Via on a quiet street with several cafes and a couple of convenient groceries. Though we were not met personally as they were busy, we were quickly assisted via phone to help us get into the apartment (had an error on our app with the lock of the door). The apartment's pictures are fairly accurate and though small it was fine for our family of four. We knew it was going to be quite cozy. It looks like it has been renovated and there are some beautiful touches with the wood beams and artwork around the apartment; however, whoever is cleaning the apartment is doing the bare minimum. The bathroom needs some attention as there is quite a bit of mold in the shower and behind sink (an easy fix) and probably would not be an issue if cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Though we did not cook, but one night where we heated up pizza, all of the plates that we took out were dirty and needed to be washed. Counters also needed to be wiped down and floors swept in areas. Simple things that could easily be tended to. Additionally, it looked like the building was being worked on recently so when we arrived in the lobby with our luggage deciding whether to try to fit in elevator (extremely small; one to two people only) there were holes in the wall of the building and unfortunately several roaches on walls and floor crawling around. A little off-putting, but there were none in apartment.

Great location, very close to three metro stations. lot of food options around the apartment. and a 24 hour market with basics available. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cutlery and others. Very close to Plaza Mayor and other popular plazas. If you have a car, there is no parking anywhere nearby - so be aware! The communication has been prompt and the in person checkin was a great gesture on our first trip to Madrid. The room without A/c tends to get warm. be prepared

Beautiful Stay in Madrid

Our place we stayed in was perfect! Decor, amenities, location etc... The host was right on it when you had a question or to help out with directions and where to go. We would definitely stay there again when we return. We were a family of 3.

Great apartment in an outstanding location

This apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. While it is on the 3rd floor, there is a lift. However the lift stops at the in-between floors so you go up to the 4th floor and then down about 10 steps. The lift is only big enough for a suitcase and one person. The apartment itself is cozy, with two balconies. The kitchen is well stocked. We used the washer which worked fine. There is no drying feature but there is a drying rack. The shower was big enough and the water hot. The neighbourhood is fantastic. The apartment is on a pedestrian street steps from Plaza Callao. We were able to find restaurants for dinner within walking distance and several metro lines between Callao and Opera stations. We would certainly consider renting this apartment again.
