Genial
Apartamento de lujo, de 2 dormitorios y unos 100 metros aprox. La piscina justo al lado, y sin limitaciones de horario en realidad. Billar gratuito. Preciosas vistas de Funchal, pero un poco alejado del centro, si hay que poner algún pero.

Es un lugar a las fueras de la ciudad, pero en Madeira tienes que utilizar el coche de lo contrario es complicado moverse. La piscina muy bien y los apartamentos son perfectos!!! Lo recomiendo y volveria sin duda.

Una maravillosa estancia
La estancia en Palheiro Village ha sido maravillosa. El emplazamiento es estupendo, cuando no quieres alojarte en la ajetreada Funchal. El apartamento es espacioso, está muy limpio, las camas son muy buenas y todo el mobiliario está en perfecto estado, incluido los utensilios de cocina. Las vistas a Funchal son increíbles, con una terraza en la que da gusto estar. Por poner alguna mejora, el servicio de toallas en la piscina debería tener un horario más amplio. Nosotras fuimos por la tarde y ya no había toallas disponibles. VOLVERÉ A MADEIRA Y SIN DUDA ELEGIRÉ PALHEIRO VILLAGE PARA ALOJARME.

Todo perfecto. Apartamento, localización, vistas... Muy recomendable. A sólo 10 min en coche del centro de Funchal.

Beautiful location. Need to drive everywhere as it’s not close to downtown core and on a steep hillside. Had a car rental so that worked out well. Apartment with kitchen was great. Spacious.

Property was excellent, safe, clean, and the location was fantastic. Unfortunately our unit was on the lower level so the views from our unit were not good. We had booked sea view and our view was blocked by trees so no real open sea view. Staff was good and responsive. Had washer in the unit but no dryer. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. Had to drive up to the clubhouse to get coffee daily morning.

Tolle, große Wohnung, sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber und ein gigantischer Blick auf den Atlantik von einer ebenfalls überdurchschnittlich großen Terrasse. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen, für alle Ausflüge nach Funchal und den Rest der Insel. Einziger und kleiner Wermutstropfen: die vor der Anlage verlaufende Straße ist oft sehr laut, vorallem wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte.

Beautiful Villas. Be Careful of Extra Charges
A lovely hillside full of beautiful apartments/villas, with great views to the sea and Funchal. The central forum heated outdoor pool is free to use, but you will need to pay quite a bit extra for the gym (very tiny and not much equipment)/indoor pool which is based in the spa buildings at the top of the hill. See the hotel website for details. We had a car, so driving up and down the hill between the pool and villa was fine, but it would be a good walk up/down the hill if you didn't. I'd say staying here, a car makes things much much more convenient than if you don't have a car.

Had a great time in Palheiro village. The villa (3 bed) was very spacious and well furnished. Only slight downside was that some of the carpets had unsightly stains. We were very close to the swimming pool and games room, and made good use of these. A car is essential if staying in Palheiro village as is very hilly and a good distance from other locations. Maderia itself was wonderful, and the the relative close proximity of the villa to Funchal was good. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

Great golf and apartment
We were 3 persons sjaring this apartment. Great! Very nice people running the place. We did not have a car, but a shuttle was picking us up when we were carrying golfbag up to the golfcouse- extremely steep arret upwards, but nice to get a good exersice We rented an apartment, lowest down, very close to the busstop, but a bit noisy at the terrasse, from traffic (only downside I would say)

Domaine très agréable mais un peu bruyant
Appartement grand , propre , cuisine bien équipée ´ accueil sympathique , aspect architecturale très joli , bref un bon séjour , seul bémol , malgré le double vitrage , domaine un peu bruyant surtout si on veut se mettre sur la terrasse qui a une belle vue sur la mer Attention , il faut impérativement un véhicule , ça grimpe !!

Excellent accommodation with good privacy and general facilities for cooking, washing etc, spacious, outdoor pool was great for the kids, close to Funchal (although car required to get around).

Lovely with some pros and some cons
The Palheiro Village is a group of apartments/villas connected to the golf court. Pros - Nice option to share an apartment with friends/family instead of separate hotel rooms - Clean and tidy - Very quiet - this is not a party place (a con for some) - Amazing if you like golfing as you’re right on the golf court - Breakfast/lunch/dinner options in affiliated Palheiro Hotel which is situated at the top of the hill in a lush and quiet garden - Wonderful sea view from pretty much all apartments/villas I believe - Free and easy parking right next to apartment - Staff all very friendly and helpful - Funchal town with its restaurant etc is only an 8 min drive away Cons - Colder climate than by the coast (a pro for some) - You need a car to get to the pool, communal areas, reception and breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurant. It’s up a very steep hill and a pretty challenging walk even for a fit young person - It’s labelled “luxury” but the decor and general interior is very dated. - Sea view - but if you’re on the bottom of the village like we were there’s a big road right in front. Probably nicer to be higher up the hill. All in all we had a nice time, but next time I would personally probably opt for the Palheiro Hotel up the hill if I was looking for something quiet - or one of the Funchal town hotels for something more happening. But great option for a family.

Beautiful views, clean apartment. Lacked basic toiletries such as box of tissue paper, one shampoo bottle and one hand soap only for the 2 washrooms. There was no washing detergent for the machine. The dryer did not work, even though we tried over and over again with different settings. The first day check in was very confusing. The security guard who didn't speak well English just handed us the key to the apartment. We had to call few numbers to get someone to come in and speak to us.

Casa c/pó acumulado e ideia que seria um hotel...
A ideia da publicidade é que seria um hotel e afinal são casas em que apenas as camas são feitas e as toalhas mudadas uma vez por semana. Casa com muito pó (provavelmente acumulado nas alcatifas e tapetes) que desencadeou muitas alergias em toda a família

Amazing villa's. Great service and a wonderful place to stay! You 100% need a car when staying here. We did get a taxi into Funchal at night, which the local service is very good.
