No recomendable
Las instalaciones comunes como las piscinas son excelentes pero la habitación era más antigua. Lo peor que desde la habitación se oía constantemente el ascensor. Imposible descansar. Además no había WIFI en la habitación. La calidad del desayuno mala. El personal amable.

Hotel céntrico, posee muchos servicios,confortable
Nos ha encantado! Tiene parking gratuito, spa con jacuzzi y sauna. La habitación tiene una zona externa con una mesa y dos sillas que van a dar a un jardín con solarium. La habitación es amplia, con un diseño moderno y muy limpia. Tiene muchos armarios y cajones. El baño es grande, incluye secador y está muy limpio. Nosotros teníamos alojamiento+desayuno. Si quieres cenar en el hotel son +18€ por persona cada día. Desayuno buffet cuantioso, amabilidad del personal de restaurante que cuidan todos los detalles y que buscan que la experiencia del clientr sea òptima. Relación calidad precio excelente, siendo un hotel de 4 estrellas en el centro de Funchal. MUY RECOMENDABLE!!

Agradable hotel reformado, un poco caro
Hotel reformado por fuera pero las habitaciones tienen muebles con años. El spa sienta bien pero solo cuenta con piscina mediana con burbujas, sauna y baño turco (éste último no funcionaba cuando estuve). Tiene WIFI en habitación. Hotel pegado a una carretera principal de Funchal con lo que hay que cerrar ventanas para descansar. Desayuno de bufete medianamente bien, sin demasiada variedad. Como pega fuerte es que pedí en la reserva por internet cama doble en vez de dos individuales e hicieron caso omiso de mi petición, aún incluso cuando llegué al hotel. Y por otro lado, no tienen para beber agua en la sauna, tienes que comprarla en el bar, así que aprendimos a llevarnos el agua con nosotros! En definitiva un poco caro para lo que ofrecen, pero un hotel agradable y con buen servicio.

Zonas comunes renovadas pero habitaciones viejas
A nuestra llegada nos dieron la habitación 337 que era básicamente un zulo. No tenía nada de luz, y la única luz artificial era la de dos pequeñas luces de mesilla. Pedimos cambio de habitación y en la nueva por lo menos ya teníamos una ventana en la habitación y otra en el baño. Aún así no recomendaría este hotel, para ser un 4 estrellas las habitaciones y los baños necesitan renovación, la alfombrilla que nos dejaban para la bañera directamente daba asco... Sólo es un 4 estrellas en las zonas comunes. El resto más que decepcionante.

El hotel confortable y bien ubicado
Hemos recorrido toda la Isla de Madeira incansablemente, es preciosa, y nos hemos encontrado muy a gusto al volver al hotel y sentirnos tan confortables como si estuviéramos en nuestra propia casa. Por la mañana un buen desayuno variado y abundante, cogiendo energías para otro gran paseo.

It's always discouraging when our expectations don't live up to our expectations. However, as we explained to you on the spot, even though our restaurant has all the information regarding the ban on taking food out of the restaurant, we informed you that we had two different types of picnics available for this purpose, against payment, giving you the choice of which one you wanted to take. Unfortunately, you refused this solution.As part of our amenities, there is no free takeaway from our restaurant. This measure is only granted free of charge in all-inclusive hotels, which is not our case. Our team has been working with us for many years and we have full confidence in them. We're sorry you felt that way about the situation above, but they're just following our internal rules.We sincerely hope that having overcome this situation, you have been able to enjoy your vacation and that in the very near future, when you come to our hotel, we will be able to prove to you our true essence.

Hotel was very nice. We had a great corner room with large opening windows so felt as though we were outside. Had view of mountains and of the ocean. It was also very large by any standard. It is not ocean front, but that is not so important as there is no beach in Funchal and our room had an ocean view. Only slightly negative observation was lack of things one usually sees in hotels e.g. no water bottles, no lotion..But that slight defect was overwhelmed by the quality of the room.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Magnolia und wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, das riesige Frühstücksbuffet hält für jeden etwas parat. Und natürlich haben wir auch den halboffenen beheizten Pool täglich genossen. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es eine viel angefahrene Bushaltestelle, zum Einkaufszentrum Forum Madeira und in die Altstadt ist es je eine knappe halbe Stunde zu Fuss. Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt der Park der Quinta Magnolia. Ein kleiner aber schöner Stadtpark mit Tennisplätzen, einem Kaffee und einem sehr gepflegten Kinderspielplatz

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only faults were the beds were hard (got a topper fitted) and the dining room is very congested at times. Overall a great stay at lovely hotel.

Skulle inte säga att det är ett 4-⭐️ hotell, mer som ett 3-⭐️, väldigt hårda sängar. Frukosten var ganska bra! Men bra läge, några minuters promenad till citykärnan och Lido åt andra hållet. Smidigt att direkt komma ut på motorvägen om man hyr bil. Dock väldigt mycket oväsen från vägen utanför så svårt att sova om man har öppet fönster

Everything about this hotel screamed comfort, a very enjoyable stay which was great value.the indoor pool was a particular highlight, along with the sauna. Breakfast buffet was vast.

Wonderful Funchal base for exploring
The hotel had a delightful breakfast, room, pool, spa, location. We were able to walk into town along a single flat road, There is also free parking directly outside the hotel. Slightly hard bed, but this can be forgiven.

Enotel Magnolia in Funchal does it right!
Great hotel with very friendly staff. I made request ahead of time and they were able to accommodate me. Thanks. Also I got early check in as the room was ready. Beautiful grounds with outdoor pool large patio and big heated pool/hot tub. Top floor terrace with 360 views of the surrounding area. Really one does not want to leave. One issue is the noise from the street level especially if there is a loud motorcycle passing. Overall minor issue. I would also appreciate maybe coffee tea making machine in the lobby as there is no kettle in the room. I like to drink hot water and going to the bar each time is not convenient. The room has a safe mini fridge that actually works and personalized message on tv upon your arrival. I thought it was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend that hotel. Also worth mentioning the airport bus stop is just on the other side of the street. 5 euros per person will take you to the airport. Easy and convenient. Bus stop #12 of the aeroport transport line.
