"Check in was spectacular, room was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was good
Don't go to the Mediterranean Japanese restaurant for food (i didn't have the burger which was recommended by the front desk) but we ordered 5 things and they were gross and I'm not that picky.
We liked the hotel so much we tried to book the next night but they were full. Happy trails"

"The property has 2 buildings. The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide.
The food at restaurant is better than many Funchal ones.
The only draw back is the fact that the add stated they have microwave, coockware, and dishes, but they had in the room only a kettle. The staff is friendly and you can borrow some tableware from restaurant.

"The villa is charming and cozy with plenty of room for 3 couples. Our host Ricardo was very attentive to our group and we had a wonderful time sampling beverages with him.
The kitchen is small but the villa was in walking distance to many excellent restaurants in Porto da Cruz. There are many outdoor areas to relax in and the property is beautifully landscaped with fruit trees of all kinds.
Thanks to Ricardo and Rubina for making this a memorable stay. I would definitely recommend the villa...
