"A very warm and welcoming house. The sound of the rippling waters was wonderful to sit and listen and watch. Also being able to walk and catch a trout! The house was clean and well presented, everything you want for a comfortable stay and we were very cosy. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Our two labs loved the river and the property as well and we hope to come back again."

"We stayed at Maggie and David’s cottages for 3 nights in April, with our daughters aged 10 and 14 and all had a great time. The cottages are warm and cosy and allthough they seemed small to start with allowed us to spend great quality time together. "The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

"Although the property seems smaller than anticipated, it was still comfortable. It can do well with larger indoor spaces as the rain over the last couple of days confined us so. The TV reception dropped off a few times and there aren’t enough toilet papers resulting in us having to buy some in town."

"I found the place based on the map provided on Stayz, the owner never gave the address so it was a little hard to find. The queen bed in the second bedroom is broken and unsafe to sleep on so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. No dishwashing soap provided at all yet check out instructions requested for all dishes to be washed. The location to mountain entrance is excellent and it was nice to see the kangaroos in the morning."

"2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!"
