Great spot with dog friendly beach 2 minutes away. Quiet home with nice deck and birds around. The house has everything your own home would have. A lovely decor and lovely attention to details. Very clean comfy beds, good water. 2 toilets are great. Spotless. Bev is a good communicated and helpful lady. Great restaurants with views nearby. I can only recommend this lovely home.

We had wonderful family holiday enjoying the Central Coast based at our McMasters Beach cottage. It was clean, with a well stocked kitchen, spacious outdoor deck with BBQ and sun lounges overlooking a leafy backyard. We visited the beach opposite the property with our a dog for a walk to the nearby ocean Rockpool. This is our second visit and we’ll be back again.

My partner and I (and our dog) absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful, relaxing and very welcoming home nestled in the treetops. It has everything you need for a great holiday - beautiful views, close to the beach, comfy beds and lounges, lovely bed linens, good kitchen, BBQ, modern appliances, lots of books & games and is very comfortable, clean and practical throughout. The location is just stunning and the large enclosed back deck is where we spent most of our time relaxing. Just a few short minutes walk to Macmasters Beach, the house is surrounded by trees and the local bird life is spectacular, particularly in the mornings and late afternoons. Gorgeous king parrots, lorikeets and kookaburras fly past and often land on the back deck, so you get to see and hear them at close range. Our dog loved hanging out on the back deck with us and it's also great for breakfast, BBQs and afternoon drinks. From the house it's a short 10 minute walk along the beach to Macmasters Surf Club cafe, or around 15-20 minutes walk along the beach to Copacabana beach, surf club, shops, cafes and restaurants. The beach is dog friendly which is brilliant, and Cochran's Lagoon is lovely, too. Bev was an excellent host and the house is very thoughtfully stocked with everything you may need. We absolutely loved our stay here, and hope to return again very soon - it's just such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

We have had a wonderful stay. House was perfect for us. This was our first doggie holiday. A perfect location, doggies loved their 2 times a day beach walk. There is no fenced yard but the large deck was perfect for them. The home is clean and tidy and had all the necessary items for us to enjoy the holiday.eg. Boardgames Thank you for our stay

Castaway is a beautiful wooden beach house just 100m walk to McMasters Beach. We chose the house because it could easily fit our family of five including two teens, our grandmother and our small cockerpoo. The house is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and outdoor BBQ. Best of all it has a fireplace as we were staying in the cooler months and super cosy warm beds. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival. I would only warn visitors arriving in the night that there is a dimly lit boardwalk to get to the front door. It’s just a short walk but you may need your phone light to navigate first time you enter.

We stayed over Easter for nearly a week. The house is in a great spot... so quite and so close to the beach. It was very clean. It is a little bit like a tree house in that the deck is quite high nestled amongst the trees so plenty of birds etc hanging about.

Very easy access, 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped, a large deck over looking trees with lots of singing birds, very close to the beach that waves can be heard, dog friendly beach for our little dog, cafe with a view at Macmasters beach. It is a home away from home. Instructions are very clear and well thought of. Late check out on Sundays was certainly a blessing. Many thanks to Bev and Tom.

Gorgeous house in a fabulous location. Tree top living right next to the beach. Really comfortable set up with enough room for 5 - nice touches of cold bubbly in fridge and bathroom toilteries. Beds are super comfy. The distance to the surf life flags on McMasters beach are nearer to the house than the ones on Copacobana - whole beach is a fabulous walk round. Bonus for us was the birdlife that come onto the balcony - absolute joy to be that close. Heads up - it's a steep driveway down to park a car (or 2) as the house is high up (tree top living remember!) Bev is hands down the most attentive owner to deal with. Highly recommend this house - only wish we had longer.

We were able to bring our dog along for the holiday with a dog beach so close by. This property is well maintained, carefully and generously appointed with kitchen utensils and things like oil and salt and pepper. Fabulous because I forgot to consider these items to pack. Away from busy streets and loads of birdlife. We used the fireplace which was cosy and warm and there were lots of games and books available to use. Thankyou for a lovely restful stay.
