"Staff were friendly. Communication was excellent. Bed and lounge need to be updated. Lounge is sunken in the middle and the bed felt like one side had broken slats. We stay at Monterey often and this was the worst nights sleep we have ever had."

"I would never stay here again. The room stunk of smoke, there were marks on the carpet & walls. Dead bugs on the window sill. Tv remote didn't work. The bed was the worst I've slept in for a long time. Two singles pushed together which is standard in a lot of places these days but if u lay on one side there was a 5-10cm height difference on the two sides. It was not pleasant.
