I think it was all an engineering issue. Entering the hotel, the lobby was un-airconditioned which made checking in a sweaty , uncomfortable affair. Apparently the engineering team switches that off as energy saving. Entering the room, 2 essential light bulbs were broken, the entry hall and the bathroom. ...

Pacific Sands Apartments
The entrance door was sticking and had to be careful that it had closed properly. Room was sufficient size but the window wouldn’t close properly. This resulted in occasional smell of cigarettes from elsewhere. The window screens were extremely dusty and dirty. The bed was saggy and I could feel ...

Lanai Riverside Apartments
2nd stay there and a great spot, room was not directly in the afternoon sun, so the room is not so boiling hot that the AC couldn’t cope,unlike the last place we stayed at across the road starting with an O, on our last visit to MacKay.
