Recanto do Sol by Atlantic Holiday

Recanto do Sol by Atlantic Holiday is a two-bedroom apartment located in the village of Caniçal, Madeira Island, offering a comfortable and practical setting for up to five guests. It is well suited for couples, families or small groups looking to enjoy an authentic area of the island while remaining close to key attractions. Just below the apartment, there is a buggy tour company, providing a convenient opportunity to explore Madeira's stunning landscapes and off-road trails. As tours depart throughout the day, guests may occasionally hear some noise during operating hours.



The apartment includes one bedroom with a queen-size bed and another with two single beds. In the living room, a sofa bed is available for one additional guest. There are two bathrooms, both with showers, one being en-suite in the master bedroom.



The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances and utensils, including a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, hob, cutlery and tableware, allowing guests to prepare meals with ease. A washing machine and hairdryer are also available. The living area features a Smart TV with a box for entertainment.



A private parking space is located just outside the property, providing convenient access for guests travelling by car. The apartment is set in a small village, with restaurants and beaches approximately a 15-minute walk away, and one of Madeira’s well-known hiking areas just a 10-minute drive.



Bed linen and bath towels are provided. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.



Check-in is available from 16:00 until 05:00 in the morning. Smoking inside the apartment is not permitted.



The City Hall charges a local Tourist Tax per guest per night. The charge amounts:



- 2EUR per night;

- This rate applies up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights and does not apply to guests that are under 13 years old.

- This charge must be paid directly to us so we can deliver it to the City Hall.



We’ll provide all the necessary details, including the Tourist Tax payment, a few days before check-in.
