"Three days felt like a step back in time in this classic camp. Nothing to do but be still in a beautiful place. The far side of the lake boasts beautiful rocks and views of Spruce Mountain. The water was warm, the air clear. Multiple boats for our use were great. We spent hours on and in the water. Christian was a generous and friendly host. Thanks for sharing this place with us."

"Great place to get away from it all. Remote and stunningly beautiful. Great amenities for enjoying the outdoors. Loved the firepit at night, eating outdoors, and the closeness to the water. Loved exploring the bay area at low tide finding sea creatures. Contact Captain Matt's for getting good deals on fresh lobster. The cabin fit my family of 10 great. We hope to come back again."

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"Amazing property! Photos don't capture the beauty of this place. Inside of cabin is unbelievable. Modern fixtures, incredible ceiling fans, light dimmer on all overhead lights, sky lights, large windows and a beautiful bathroom. I could go on. Fully stocked with everything you need, just bring food. To say my dogs enjoyed their stay would be an understatement. No curtain on door right by sink to brush teeth etc. Zero privacy. Not even a checker board or newspaper to occupy kids. "Nice wood cabin, in a beautiful spot. There's was no wifi (it wasn't a surprise but it's rare and would be nice to add..) There was nothing to do with the TV because there was no cable to. Bed matress where confortable and it was nice to have 6 places for the kids. There was many spiderwebs and the cleaning could be better. "
