"Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home."

"We just needed a place to stay for one night having come down from the cities to pick our daughter up from end of semester at Luther. The price was right, we thought. The pictures looked nice enough. When we left, we agreed it would be our future “go to” place! The camper was as nice as any hotel, plus the added bonus of a stream and waterfall, campfire, horses, pasture…doesn’t get any better. Wish we could’ve stayed longer…Next time!!"

"This is such a beautiful home nestled up next to the park but still close to town. The hosts were so responsive. We sent out a plea at the last minute before graduation for help with a garment and they went above and beyond to help. More than we ever expected. I will forever remember sitting on the front porch in the evenings watching the birds flit around as we relaxed. It is a special home."

"This property is one of a kind! The pond is perfect for kids to play and fish. Wonderful view while drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings was a great way to start the day. A lot of wildlife to see and trout fishing close by kept everyone busy! The house is stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The owners were very easy to communicate with. If you’re looking for a very quiet, secluded vacation this is the place!"

"Beautiful setting right on the Upper Iowa River. Very private. Very clean. This was a girl's trip (5 of us) and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. We are already talking about coming back. The only issue we had was no railing on the steps going into the house (even though it was only a few steps) and railing only on one side of the steps going to the basement. We had a couple people with mobility issues and had to be very careful. We strongly suggest getting railings in those 2 places. One...

"This is our third stay at Money Creek Ranch and we will be back! Amy is THE BEST attentive host that thinks of all the details to make our stay pleasant. We all have our favorite spot here- a young one on the swing, a family member in the hammock, someone reading on the deck, and me around the fire pit star gazing between the bluffs. This is hands down the best place for gatherings, nature viewing, and relaxing. The lodge has enough room for everyone. Not to mention you are close enough to town...

"The picture on line doesn’t do it justice. It’s a lovely, clean, very comfortable home. There were seven of us (three couples and an extra friend) and we had enough bedrooms and bathrooms -worked out great! It’s an easy location to get to and to access highways to other places.
