Overall the house was excellent! Our only issues were the hot tub did not have enough water in it. If we had checked when we got there, we would have filled it up and turned it on to warm up. It took 24 hours to get hot so we did not get to use it. The other issue, which the owners can do nothing about, is the water level. There was no water under the pontoon boat, so we could not rent it to take it out on the lake. Overall, we loved the layout of the house and the beds were comfy! I would definitely stay here again.

If you are planning to stay here make sure you ask about the water level in the cove BEOFRE you book. It rises and falls dramatically and when we arrived the cove was a complete mud pit which was our view from the property, and we were unable to take out any of the water toys as promised/expected. I had asked the property manager about the cove access BEFORE we arrived and she told me the water level was "too low to jump into" but she never said it was completely dried up and a mud pit. On my subsequent call to the owner that evening, she defended the issue saying it was out of her control, but she also admitted that she knew the cove was empty from a recent stay and tried to tell me that rising/falling water level information was in the online listing somewhere, but it was not included in their listing or check in materials anywhere at the time (perhaps they have updated the listing now due to this issue). Further, the condition of the property, dock/outdoor area, and furniture is far from what is shown in the photos which must be at least 10 years old. The dock was full of bugs and cobwebs, the carpet in the house was matty and dirty, there were bugs everywhere inside due to the mud pit (moths & mosquitos - show in my my photos), the hot tub had a terrible odor and the water was cloudy, there was water pooling on the floor of the game room (shown in my photos), etc. The listing photos are "accurate" from when the property was in great condition, but not anymore!

The house was very well put together. Our Host has been incredible with great communication, helping me through my first rental of a vacation rental. The rental was perfectly set up for my family of 6. They had provided everything we absolutely could need to make our stay comfortable. My family loves it so much that we plan on roelocating out this way.

The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful and the layout was great for a family get together. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well stocked.We stayed in October and the water was low so we weren’t able to do anything in the water but the equipment was available. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire and also playing games and grilling on the back patio.

The kitchen was nicely equipped. The master bed/bath was really nice. The 2 bathroom tubs had no water to it.The hot tub was hot for 1 night only, otherwise useless.The neighbor has 2 large dogs, that charged the fence, barking, with hair raised, every time we came out of the house. You can't walk the neighborhood, because of loose Pitt bulls. The game room was nice.

Clean and plenty of space with all the necessities. The lake view picture in the listing is a little deceiving. There is not actually a clear lake view from the home unless you are on the upper deck in the backyard. Overall a good stay, just didn’t have the view we were expecting.

Great place for a getaway or chill hangout! Not much to do nearby besides lake activities (boating kayaking etc) which is expected, but the house itself is wonderful and would not mind spending another weekend relaxing there again :)

The home was very nice..the drive in was very run down but this home was nicely updated. My husband and I were finishing up a two week vacation for our 25th anniversary. We booked this place the day before as a spontaneous lake stay..we were excited about being about to rent the pontoon and use the lake toys. When we got there the cove water level we were in was so low, there was no way we could have used any of those things. I understand there is no way to predict that , and we were not familiar with the area, so didn’t even think to ask. I usually spend a lot of time researching a place before booking, and read all the reviews so I’m not surprised. I will likely not book last minute again. Like I said, the home was lovely but I would have not spent as much for a lake house. The view photo is on top of the dock and not from the home, just fyi.

The home and property are beautiful. It was perfect for a weekend away with family and friends. The host surprised us with s’mores fixings in the kitchen upon arrival. Our teenagers were big fans!We enjoyed the lake, though getting a boat in and out of the narrow, shallow inlet was challenging. Everything in the house itself was great including the amazing master suite - clean and spacious with an amazing, spacious walk-shower. The surrounding neighborhood is fairly run down and unkept. The properties along the water are nice and taken care of, but the drive from town to the water is quite “rustic”.

We enjoyed the stay. Master bath tub faucet didn't work so no water for a tub soak. We did the boat rental, had issues with it running, but they hosts were easy to get in contact with and did there best to remedy the situation.

Great house and location

We stay at Cedar Creek often and this house offered everything you need. The hot tub was a great option for April when the lake water is not warm yet. The only negative was the boat was not available to rent when it was advertised as an option. We would have liked to rent it. Otherwise the house was great, clean and we enjoyed out stay. Thank you,
