Clean and plenty of space with all the necessities. The lake view picture in the listing is a little deceiving. There is not actually a clear lake view from the home unless you are on the upper deck in the backyard. Overall a good stay, just didn’t have the view we were expecting.

Great place for a getaway or chill hangout! Not much to do nearby besides lake activities (boating kayaking etc) which is expected, but the house itself is wonderful and would not mind spending another weekend relaxing there again :)

The home was very nice..the drive in was very run down but this home was nicely updated. My husband and I were finishing up a two week vacation for our 25th anniversary. We booked this place the day before as a spontaneous lake stay..we were excited about being about to rent the pontoon and use the lake toys. When we got there the cove water level we were in was so low, there was no way we could have used any of those things. I understand there is no way to predict that , and we were not familiar with the area, so didn’t even think to ask. I usually spend a lot of time researching a place before booking, and read all the reviews so I’m not surprised. I will likely not book last minute again. Like I said, the home was lovely but I would have not spent as much for a lake house. The view photo is on top of the dock and not from the home, just fyi.

The home and property are beautiful. It was perfect for a weekend away with family and friends. The host surprised us with s’mores fixings in the kitchen upon arrival. Our teenagers were big fans!We enjoyed the lake, though getting a boat in and out of the narrow, shallow inlet was challenging. Everything in the house itself was great including the amazing master suite - clean and spacious with an amazing, spacious walk-shower. The surrounding neighborhood is fairly run down and unkept. The properties along the water are nice and taken care of, but the drive from town to the water is quite “rustic”.

We enjoyed the stay. Master bath tub faucet didn't work so no water for a tub soak. We did the boat rental, had issues with it running, but they hosts were easy to get in contact with and did there best to remedy the situation.

Great house and location

We stay at Cedar Creek often and this house offered everything you need. The hot tub was a great option for April when the lake water is not warm yet. The only negative was the boat was not available to rent when it was advertised as an option. We would have liked to rent it. Otherwise the house was great, clean and we enjoyed out stay. Thank you,

18th Birthday

Was a great place for us to have our son’s 18th birthday. Plenty of room for him and his friends and lots of activities at the house and in the local area. Would definitely go back.

Thanksgiving getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun for this competitive bunch. A few ping pong tournaments were had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving getaway.

Great Family Mini-Vacations

The house was very clean, tidy and organized. Everything was exactly as described. The kitchen had lots of utensils. Central AC, bathrooms, bedrooms, backyard. Grill, hottub, dec, firepit, everything worked very well. The game room is great as well. We had an ask to replace the AC filters, which they promptly responded to and a contractor came in shortly after.

Beautiful lakeside home!

The home was beautiful and spacious! It had a cute fenced backyard with a raised sitting area to look out at the lake. It worked really well for our dogs! The neighbors were friendly as well and that was a plus! The garage is a gaming area and was a nice little getaway.

Great spot

The code to the door didn’t work. We arrived at 2am, so we had to contact property to get in. Other than that, our stay was great. The water was about a foot deep at the boat dock. We used the paddle board and kayaks. LOTS of spiders, but we managed to make it work. Clean , plenty of kitchen supplies. Very enjoyable!

Very nice lake house

The property is as it appears in the photos and is very nice. Great backyard that is fenced and we were able to keep our 2 dogs with us. A general comment is that the neighborhood you drive through to get to the property is a little rough. Lots of dogs running around that aren't on leash, so I wouldn't recommend taking your dog on a long walk. Also, we rented the boat that we thought was attached to the property only to find out they actually move the boat between properties. We ended up only using it for about an hour, so it was quite expensive if you do that (it would be better to rent a boat at the marina by the hour, so live and learn). We did have some AC issues when we first got there, but they sent someone out that night and got everything working. The keypad to enter the house didn't work with the code we were given but were able to use the key in the lockbox. Anyway, the property is nice, and the owners seem to be equally nice. The only thing I dislike about VRBO properties is you don't talk to someone in person and all the communication is typically done through the app. That just causes delays in getting things resolved. That's not the fault of these property owners, but a phone call is sometimes the best way to get things fixed quickly.
