We had a great experience with the house/host! She quickly answered all our questions and facilitated a great stay. Me and my sister celebrated our birthday and her house and backyard was perfect for hosting a small get together with family and a few friends.

Our family spent the weekend here and enjoyed it very much. Communication was swift and great. The location was perfect. We had an almost two year old and an eight month old with us. We used the grill one evening and had more family over for dinner. Would recommend.

Attending NRVTA and family gathering

My husband and I were in the Texas for him to attend NRVTA. My children decided to come down while we were in the area. We had a total of 6 adults and an 18 month old. The house was a very nice size for all of us. We enjoyed the view of the lake, the hammock, and the fireplace. My 18 month old grandson enjoyed the blocks and toys. We did have to chase him many times when he decided to run down to the water because there is no barrier. It was not a big deal as we had 6 people to make chase, but could be important to someone else. We did appreciate the high chain locks on both doors to keep him inside the house at all times. The locks were very much appreciated, and a well thought out safety measure. We had a plumbing problem with slow drains while we were staying, and the property manager got a plumber out to address the situation right away. The weather was very cold the last few days of our stay, and we enjoyed the use of the fireplace. The fireplace was probably our favorite part of our stay. We had two nice fires, and really enjoyed those evenings. The kitchen was supplied with enough items for what we needed. We used the bbq for most of our meals. Our one recommendation for improvement would be a new bbq. My son in law is a chef, and he did most of the cooking. He said it would be good to have a replacement. The property manager Danelle was very friendly and quick to take care of anything we needed. A

Great thanksgiving

Loved the neighborhood. Really quiet. House was very clean and set up for just about anything. Played many games there and did catch a few tiny perch which the kids and grandkids loved, even though the water was really low. Stocked great for cooking. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks!!

Great lakeside getaway

Booked the property for a long weekend just to get out of the city for a bit. Great communication from the owner and they accommodated our dogs with notice ahead of time. Lots of beds in this little house, which gave our teens their own space. It has a great outdoor area to hang out in. Lots of mosquitos, but it’s the lake so you kind of expect that. House is well appointed and everything is labeled really well so you can find lights and so forth. Would stay again!

Great Family Vacation

Spent the week of the solar eclipse here. The home was as described and as expected by the photos. It's very cozy and quiet. Viewing the eclipse from the raised deck was absolutely amazing. Would stay here again definitely.

Cozy!

Even though it was extremely cold outside, the view and fireplace made everything inside that much more cozy! We ended up in bad weather, and without a problem were able to stay an extra night! Amazing host who offered free fire wood to make sure we were comfortable during the freeze. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room for our big family, and such a cozy feel. Loved the whole experience!

Thanksgiving getaway

Our family decided we needed something different this year for Thanksgiving and Buffalo Inn was just what we needed! The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. We loved all the furnishings and the linens were nice quality. We would book again!

Cozy property

We had the most pleasant time. Property provided us with everything we needed and then some. Beautiful home, clean, wonderful view, beds were so comfortable, place stayed cool during this hot Texas weather and we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Amazing!

Even with the lake being low, the stay was great! Clean, well organized, spacious house for the weekend getaway! We grilled out hamburgers, made homemade ice cream, and threw some cornhole bags! The house is amazing and spacious! Wonderful stay!

Buffalo Inn

Very nice and quite neighborhood. We loved the double decker dock. House is well supplied. Great for small kids. The only negative is you could not see lake from porch. Wood in the way. Bad location for wood. Lake was always calm, great for swimming or kayaking. We did enjoy this house and our time with family.

Perfect family get away on Cedar Creek Lake

This lake house is perfect for multiple families or groups of adults to enjoy some time on the lake! The host is generous and responsive, the property is in great condition, and the amenities make it so easy to feel at home, even with younger children! You can tell the host Danelle takes pride in making sure her visitors have a great vacation! The instructions provided are thorough and make kicking off your time away very relaxing. The swimming area by the beautiful dock was by and far the kid’s favorite activity and the lake bottom is shallow enough kids can swim safely while adults venture out deeper. I can’t thank Danelle enough for facilitating such a wonderful trip full of memories for our family. We are already talking about next year!

Perfect 4 Day Weekend

There is nothing not to love about this property. The owners have thought of everything! The house is perfectly decorated, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, Dyson air purifying fans in every room, outdoor games, fire pit etc... Our family had an amazing Easter Weekend. Thank you!

Nice getaway!

A great place for a getaway. Four bedrooms. Easily sleeps three couples and four kids. Has outdoor Jenga, cornhole and a big grassy backyard. Water level was very low due to drought. Kitchen is great for entertaining. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood. Would love to return!

Comfortable Beds, They Thought of Everything!

The property was nice, very clean, had comfortable beds, and it was a good location in a neighborhood with a lot of nice houses and yards. Very nice neighbors. This host had every creature comfort covered. We played cornhole for hours and enjoyed all the games. They have several ways to stay cool outside. The lake level is about 5ft low right now, but there was still water in the cove and we got creative and decided to save clams.

Great Lake House!

We had a great time staying at this lake house! The host was so great to work with and the house worked perfect for our group. We loved spending time swimming and kayaking on the lake. We also loved the outdoor space for relaxing in the evening and playing games as a family. This house was a perfect place to have a family vacation on the lake!

Friends getaway

We had a wonderful time at Kelly’s property for a friends reunion. Kelly was super responsive and had everything you could think of. The house was a great location and stocked very well! One thing I would recommend would actually be to pair down some of the things she had as there was so many options (mainly kitchen items) it was hard to find what we actually needed. We missed the lily pad but perhaps we didn’t look in the right place or someone might have taken it which is no fault of the owners. Overall we would stay here again and enjoyed our time very much!
