Fabulous property in a wonderful location !

Our second visit to this property; we'll no doubt return again. Lucinda is a wonderful host; great communication; very hospitable. The house is superb. The grounds are expansive and private. The inslet to the lake is secluded and very quiet. Proximity to shops is great. The lake is lovely. The sunsets are amazing! Recommended .... absolutely!

Wonderful Weekend Retreat

Very clean and plenty of room for outdoor fun! The house is large and updated. Indoors, the open floor plan gave us plenty of space to cook, sit inside and watch tv or relax. The screened in patio is great for avoiding the direct sun and mosquitos, while still taking in the views of the lake. Outdoors, the covered patios and bbq area made perfect settings to eat, enjoy morning coffee and have afternoon cocktails. The property is large and would be great for family gatherings or business retreats. You have privacy and the owners were very welcoming. We had a wonderful time!

Family Getaway

From arrival to departure we enjoyed every detail of our stay. The beds were comfortable for a great night of rest. There is plenty of space to spread out on the property and enjoy the sunshine. We kayaked, used the paddle board, played yard games, grilled out, sunbathed, played cards checkers scrabble and made great memories. Lucinda was incredible to give space and still stayed in touch for any needs. We would recommend this property for sure! The fireworks and air show over the lake area were a great Fourth of July bonus too.

Wonderful Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were only there for a weekend to see and photograph wildflowers in nearby Ennis, but the house and property were perfect for our family. The property is as described, but even nicer than the pictures suggest. The owner was very communicative and responsive to questions and needs. When I inquired if there was an electric kettle in the house, she initially responded that there was not, but when we arrived there was a brand-new electric kettle there for us. Also, on the road there I realized I had forgotten to bring s'more supplies but were happy to find s'more supplies waiting for us there along with fresh baked cookies! We definitely plan to return when we have more time to enjoy the lake.

Secluded lake property with the extras of a resort

Spent a fantastic weekend with our sons. So thoughtfully appointed with coffee pods, tin foil, shampoo and books of all types. Games, horse shoes, corn hole, blackberries ready to be picked, vegetables in the garden, canoes, kayaks. This property is well-designed and landscaped yet still very natural. Would rent again. The owner, Lucinda, responded very quickly to our questions, which is so helpful when renting.

Best spot on the lake!

Lucinda was an amazing host again, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun weekend with the kids. The Ranch House and Hideaway are so comfortable, we cant wait to go back. Plenty of games both inside and outside kept us all busy. The improvements on the property along the shoreline are so well done; easy access to the water for kayaking, paddle boarding or just floating. This is the best cabin on the lake!

Amazing place

Our stay was amazing, restful and beautiful surroundings. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great for adults and kids of all ages. Lucinda is so attentive and responsive. Highly recommend visiting. We really enjoyed our time here.

Amazing views and amenities!!!

We had an amazing time and enjoyed all the views and amenities this home offered. It literally has everything. My wife sampled some Cauliflower from the fresh garden and we enjoyed the kayaks and yard games and grilled every night. The home is full of adventure and games for young children along with the beautiful yard to get lost in. Thank you very much for our stay we will be back.

Great place

Really a great place to stay. We had a memorable weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Property is clean and as described. Best part were the water sports activities she has. Coming back again for sure.

Terrific property, wonderful setting. The owners have thought of everything. Kitchen was well stocked with amenities. The fire pit, and outdoor games, and water access kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. We would definitely book this place again in the future.

Wonderful property

Property was exactly as described. It was clean and tidy and had everything you would ever need and more! Location was beautiful with activities both on and off the water. Owner was responsive and helpful with any questions. We all had a wonderful vacation, will hopefully come back and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful well detailed home

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The property owners has this home well stalked with bug spray, sun block games and water items. My kids truly enjoyed their stay! My son became a master checkers player in a week and my daughter enjoyed swimming all day in the lake. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful Super Comfortable Home

This is such a beautiful property. We had a wonderful time and would love to return. This is perhaps the most well appointed and comfortable home rental I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The hosts truly thought of every detail and the outdoor grilling and hanging out situation is definitely top notch. All the furnishings are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you to our hosts for a great weekend getaway!!!

Beautiful, Well-Appointed, and Cozy!

Everywhere you look is another beautiful sight! We have stayed in many VRBOs, but none have had as many details attended to throughout the home and grounds to ensure a wonderful experience as this one. Excellent communication with owner as well. This is a treasure just an hour or so from DFW - a perfect tranquil escape with lots of possibilities for fun included! We kayaked, fished, cooked out and in, enjoyed a bonfire and complimentary s’mores, played croquet, horseshoes, checkers, relaxed in several gorgeous seating areas, and loved every minute!

Family gathering

Both house and apartment were great for our family! Kitchens well stocked. Love the screen door on the pantry! Lake is right there, but far enough so that we could catch 3 year old if he headed that way. Would definitely stay there again!
