This was the perfect house for our little family getaway. The house was clean, well laid out for great family time. Great views of the lake ! The covered porch was perfect with fans and views. The kitchen is very well stocked and easy to find everything. Mark waa a great host! We’d go back

Amazing!

We had an amazing 5 night stay. The house was clean and well stocked with essentials. The game room was a hit with our kids along with the toy shack. The dock is in great shape. We spent much of our time out there. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Mark and Rhoda were excellent host and made our stay a breeze.

Outstanding In Every Way

This spectacular home was better than any online description/photos. Walking in, the space was spotless with incredible views immediately. Decor created such a great ambience and we were in love immediately. The owners put so much thought into this home…they didn’t miss a thing and even provided more than we ever expected. The home was spacious with great outdoor space as well. Homeowner’s were so responsive, which was really appreciated. We had the best time and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property on Cedar Creek

We had a fantastic stay at Pecan Point on Cedar Creek. The charming house is situated beautifully on a little point, giving you wide-open views of the lake and the 2 bird islands across the lake. Make sure to take the host-provided binoculars out with you when you sit on the back porch because the ducks and waterbirds will give you a great show every day. We could have happily lived on that back porch with beautiful shade trees overhead and great lake views. Be aware that the Cedar Creek Parkway bridge is in your view to the north, with a little accompanying road noise, but it didn't take away from our enjoyment at all. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable, as was the living room. The upstairs bathroom and shower is not for the claustrophobic, but having two full bathrooms in a house this size is really convenient. The kitchen is really well labeled, you'll find everything you need. The HVAC and fireplace worked really well, as did the living room television. We didn't get out into the water because it was the last cool weekend of spring, but the dock seems set up really well, and there is a metal ladder so you could step down from the shore into the water to float, or into one of the host-provided kayaks. We'll have to do that next time we come in the summer! No matter what time of year you come, you'll love the sunsets. The adirondack chairs around the firepit by the water is the perfect viewing spot. I would recommend a stay at Pecan Point!

Weekend Getaway

Perfect getaway for our family! Beautiful, clean house with comfy beds. Kids enjoyed the game room and kayaking. House has everything that you need and the owner was great answering my all my questions! We plan to be back sometime in the summer!

Best dock on the lake

Stayed with a friend to enjoy time just unwinding. We ended up spending basically two days on the dock, which is probably the best location you could imagine. Almost nothing blocking your view of the water No matter where you turn. We floated, read books in the swings, got some sun, went to the house to get food, and came back to the dock to do it all over again and again… We ended up calling them “dock days.” House was impeccably clean. Furniture and beds very comfortable, the shed with all the toys was neat and tidy, not all covered in spiderwebs. Everything labeled and organized and in good shape. We both agreed this house was a “keeper” and will probably visit again!

Immaculate property. Our family had the best time relaxing and enjoying everything the rental had to offer. Everything was very clean, organized and labeled making it easy to navigate. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We will be back!

Family Lake Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed for our family of 4. Plenty of activities to do indoors and outdoors. Great space, comfortable beds and living space. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and they had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend, no detail overlooked at this home.

Best weekend get away

We had a girls weekend with 8 of our girlfriends (all moms) lol and this place was perfect! Everything was organized and love hanging out on the boat deck! Made the best memories and will definitely come back to this home to make more! Thank you Rhoda and Mark for sharing your lake house with us!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Amazing property, perfect setting for a weekend away from the real world… Fishing, Kayaking, Ping-Pong Tourney, Campfire + S’mores all without ever having to put on our shoes or start the car! Everything you could want in one spot for a great family weekend. Can’t wait to find another free weekend on the calendar, so we can come back Mark + Rhoda well wonderful hosts, everything is well thought out, labeled well and user friendly…Which really mad for an easy transition into vacation mode 10 out of 10/5 Stars all the way!

We loved everything about our stay. We didn’t even want to leave, everything was so comfortable. Everything is very organized and label for you. Toy shack had everything you need to have fun on the water but we loved the water mat the most since it was to windy to kayak. Christmas at the Lake

We had a wonderful stay at Pecan Point! Beautiful home with lots of ammenties. The property has great view of the lake and nice boat dock. We enjoyed the evening around the fire pit with the wood provided. We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again!

Friends getaway

great lake house

This is a beautiful lakehouse. The views of the lake are fantastic. The boat dock is like sitting in a little house in the middle of the lake. The lake was low when we were there, but the location of this house made that no big deal. There is still plenty of water in front of the house for fishing, swimming and beautiful views. It is also very quiet. It is also pretty easy to find. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable, (firm beds) with an assortment of pillow choices. Plenty of towels, and amentites. My family enjoyed the game room with foosball & ping pong. The living room is comfortable for tv watching and lounging. Large, beautiful trees in the backyard. It was super hot while we were there, so we didn't use the fire pit, but it is adorable. We kayaked, used the lily pad, and swam. Everything is in great working condition.
