Fantastic stay in Lynchburg. Beautiful property, very quiet, comfortable, and Holly/Tom make sure that everything is available to make sure you have the best stay. We definitely overpacked - Q tips? Check. Multiple body washes? Check. Dirty laundry bag? Check. Dog bowls? Check. Dog cage with a comfy pillow? Check. This all made the stay so easy. They really go above and . Can’t thank them enough. One of our best stays away from home.

Lovely!

Quaint and quiet, the carriage house was perfect. The property grounds and surrounding neighborhood are gorgeous. I really enjoyed the screened in sunporch in the evenings.

Holly and Tom, are the best hosts! They do special things to make sure you know you are special! Flowers, a personalized pamphlet with my dog's picture (Buddy), treats for us and Buddy! No other Airbnb or Verbo has ever been so generous and hospitable. We have stayed in many and the Carriage House is the best! The house is historic and in a nice neighborhood with other nice houses. I loved the screened in porch to drink my morning coffee. It is the little touches that make this little house so special!Such a nice little Carriage House! ! I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. You can tell Holly and Tom take great pride in this home as displayed by their attention to every single detail. Well supplied, immaculate condition, creature comforts, fluffy towels, this place felt like home and I cannot say enough good things about it. I will absolutely be staying here again and would purchase this property in a second if given the opportunity!

Best VRBO Place

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed via a VRBO rental. Quaint historic cottage near everything. Very easy check-in, so many little extras, and a perfectly quiet cottage. Loved it. I’d give it 10 stars. Owners very communicative and friendly.

Perfect Couple Getaway

This property is A-MA-ZING. It is the sweetest little cottage packed with everything one could possibly need for a stay. It is nestled behind a big, beautiful plantation home with its own driveway. It has a very comfy living area with a full kitchen on one side and a screened in porch on the other. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and could not be any better. There are so many extra amenities from shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and a basket full of anything you need if you forgot your own toiletries. The attention to detail is spot on. The hosts have attended to every detail imaginable. It is in a great, quiet location close to many restaurants, grocery stores and other attractions.

Our 2nd stay and just as amazing as the first

This was our second time staying at the carriage house and it won’t be our last. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and make the space feel so much like home. It’s comfortable, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. They even welcomed our dog, which means so much to us. The location is fantastic—close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We truly love this property and can’t recommend it enough!

Wonderful Stay at the Rivermont Carriage House

Super cute carriage house that is very comfortable and impeccably appointed. Holly and Tom thought of everything when they created this cozy place. Crazy good blueberry muffins and home baked dog treats awaited us upon arrival. Highly recommend a stay here when in the Lynchburg area.

Best VRBO house ever

After staying on VRBO rentals for almost 20 years, this was the most impressive. It’s quaint, cozy and it had every convenience. Beautiful stay in Tivermont Hostoric District

Charming cottage that felt like home

Hidden behind a lovely home on Rivermont, this cottage was the perfect place to spend our holidays near our grandchildren. When we arrived we were spoiled with a plate of bakery blueberry muffins that we indulged in every morning! Yum! The downstairs had everything we needed to make coffee and tea, whip up a quick lunch or even bake a dessert. The bedroom is cozy and the bed is oh so comfortable. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. All the extras were much appreciated. We even had a washer/dryer in case we needed to do a quick load of laundry. This property is magical and the location is perfect. You can walk into beautiful neighborhoods and stay on the flat part of Lynchburg and still get a good walk in. We were minutes from our family and enjoyed coming home each evening. The extra touches of a Bluetooth jute box and even a Christmas tree made it all so wonderful. Thank you to our hosts for making our Christmas visit so special.

Beautiful Quaint Cottage

Excellent location in Lynchburg, Va easy access to the downtown Lynchburg. Beautiful cottage accommodating two folks. The cottage is nicely decorated and super clean. The host(s) are excellent to work with, as Holly was ever so helpful with our needs. The grounds are immaculate. They gave awesome attention to our poodle, Holly nice touch for Jake. We plan to return in the future.

Perfect for a solo "retreat"

The Carriage House is lovely in every aspect. Its presentation was such that it inspired care for its use. I came for the privacy and solitude; I had creative work to do that required it. Other guests have mentioned the numerous thoughtful amenities, including the blueberry muffins. I appreciated most the screened in patio, for which the late October weather was perfect. Most definitely, the Carriage House is a 5-star place to enjoy.

Perfect weekend spot

We were in Lynchburg for a parent weekend and so happy we found this gem. The carriage house was perfect for us. No detail overlooked and the lovely hosts made us feel welcome. Comfortable accommodations and amenities. They even provided a list of recommendations for local restaurants, etc and we discovered some spots we hadn’t found yet. We will be booking our next stay soon. Thanks for the yummy muffins!

So much charm!!

The Carriage house was beautiful!! The property had everything you could possibly need. Upon arrival their was music playing in the kitchen and muffins on the counter! The bed was SO comfortable. I would highly recommend this property!!
