Great base for a holiday in Hampshire, the lodge has everything you need, has a beautiful location on the holiday site and is very clean and nicely presented. Christchurch, Lymington, Avon Beach Bournemouth were all just a short drive away. Park passes to the gym and swimming pool were a nice touch. A heads up though when you read the Lodge information when they say the fan heater is a bluetooth speaker they do actually mean the fan heater in the lounge and not the portable fan in the bedroom, which I spent a good few mins trying to play my music through. D'oh!!! Luckily we had the weather on our side and so enjoyed a lovely pre-Easter break.

This was our second stay at the lodge on the lake. Sadly the weather was not very kind, but the lodge is cosy and comfortable, and well-equipped so we had a lovely relaxing time anyway.

Nice well equipped lodge. Would definitely recommend. My kid loved the fishing lake next to the house. Close to the new Forest. Brought our bikes but this area is by far not as bike friendly as we used to know it from Germany

Lovely Lodge Relaxing Environment

The area where the lodge is located is around 10 minute walk from the main entertainment area/indoor & outdoor pools, this suited us as it is a quieter area next to a fishing lake and only 10 mins walk onto the sea front, the lodge was clean and well presented and very well equipped. Communication with the owner Katie was excellent. The 30 minute wooded walk to Milford was very nice (once we'd established the route!)

Great cabin in a lovely location

Cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. Lovely location on the lake. Very comfortable beds. An easy 10min walk to the beach. Would love to go back! Kate was super helpful, thank you.

We had a great 4 day stay. Accommodation was great and weather reasonably kind, albeit not complying with the forecasts!Fish were very obliging for my brother in law; I think he probably introduced himself to most of them!

Loved this little lodge. It felt surprisingly spacious for the four of us, and was in a lovely, quiet spot. The added bonus of the park facility passes was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Accommodation not cleaned properly lots of hair in bathroom basin plug hole,Hinges on toilet seat filthy and seat loose.Main bedroom carpet dirty.French doors almost impossible to shut and lock due to the door distorting in the heat.Poor restaurant.

Perfect getaway

The lodge was comfortable and in an idyllic position on the park. We went out and explored the beautiful surrounding areas during the day but it was so nice to come back to our accommodation and relax with a glass of wine.The lodge was so comfortable and had a lovely holiday atmosphere. Wonderful location, in a quiet part of the park but only a 10 minute walk to Shorefield Park facilities. Host was very contactable and accomodating when we wanted to stay longer. They organised passes for us so we could use the pool at the park too.
