Perfect location for a few days of superior hiking trail day trips - oberg to the west and lake agnes/caribou lake to the east. The trail head is exactly 1 mile walk. The condo is well setup (although noise from the kitchen carries to the overhead loft master bedroom. The furnishings are comfortable including the beds, with a large kitchen table, sofa, loveseat. Nice skylight during day- living room can be dark in the evening. There are some areas in need of repair. The back porch screen, the very uneven porch table. some of the upstairs walls. Dishes in the dishwasher left for us to unload needed a hand washing. The fridge kept freezing some of the food despite adjusting settings. The overall caribou highlands property has good amenities - outdoor heated pool (comfortable laps on sept 30), outdoor music on the wedkends. Wish fitness center opened before 9 am. Had a very good stay and would return. Thank you.

This property has great amenities and a fully stocked kitchen. It was clean and the check in/out process couldn't have been easier. The owners checked in with us to make sure all was well (which it was). Would definitely recommend!

Property is somewhat dated but comfortable and mostly functional. Unit had not been cleaned prior to our arrival but that was quickly handled with minimal impact. Lower level bathroom could use some deep cleaning/sanitizing to remove persistent odor. Some blankets/throws need to be laundered with sheets.GFCI outlets in bathrooms did not function reliably. Owner is aware and is addressing all issues.

The condo was the perfect place for our family vacation! The rooms/beds were comfortable and the downstairs was very quiet for our young children. The kitchen and living room had everything we needed for meals in and time relaxing in the condo. The amenities including the pools, playground and restaurant were very nice. I also enjoyed having access to hiking trails from our front door! I also can’t say enough great things about our host Nichole. She was extremely responsive to our questions and very accommodating. I highly recommend this stay!

Great ski-in/ski-out stay

Ski-in/ski-out was easy and a great way to enjoy the slopes! Parking at the ski area itself is not great, so having this perk was really a huge convenience and allowed us to maximize our time skiing. Property was as advertised, very comfortable and accommodating.

Sonia (owner) was very responsive and provided clear instruction. We have stayed at similar properties (in the same group of condos) over the last couple years; this one is comparable (it has a half bath on the main level; don’t think all units do). We were there to ski, and unfortunately it was SO cold that we didn’t get as much skiing in as hoped. Note that this unit does not come with the ability to use the shuttle to the base of the ski hill. We did ok with driving up and dropping off though, and the shuttle sometimes has long wait times (you must be outside and ready for pickup for the shuttle - would’ve been brutal in the weather we experienced).

Dated but clean condo in Lutsen

The condo was fine, however it could use a little TLC. Bedding/towels need to be replaced. Some of the furniture was damaged. The amenities like the outdoor pool with a view of Lutsen Mountain as well as the indoor pool/hot tub were fun for the kids.

Spring Skiing

Perfect getaway to the North Shore! The place aas charming. It had everyhing we needed for our family vacation. Highlights were the wood burning fireplace, the view of the gondola, skiing back for lunch, and the kids loved the bunk beds. We hope to return!

Lutsen Ski Weekend

Property was perfect for a family ski weekend. Ski in/ski out gave easy access to moose mountain. Having a cozy fire after a day of skiing was a great experience and firewood was provided. Owners were easy to communicate with and responsive! Would definitely recommend this property.

Great ski in ski out access at Caribou Highlands

We had four woman in our group for a 3 night ski trip. The unit was true to the information in the listing for the most part. We loved having a well equipped kitchen to make a lot of our meals. The outdoor ski locker is very convenient and secure. We loved the wood burning fireplace. There is a wood supply located a few steps from the unit. This made it really easy to stoke up a fire. We would pack fire starter sticks for the next trip - kindling was not easy to find. The king bed is in the loft. If light or sound is an issue I recommend a sleep mask and ear plugs. The mattress needs to be updated - it’s high in the middle and sags on the sides. There is a nice size closest to tuck suitcases away. The other two bedrooms are in the basement which offers privacy. The accommodations were comfortable and location is fantastic. The unit is a little rough around the edges but nothing serious. The bed linens really need to be updated - pretty thread bare. They could also use a few more towels for the bathrooms. The kitchen living room was an excellent space to hang out, play games and enjoy a fire and a meal.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time while we stayed at the townhouse - it was close to everything we wanted to do on the property as well as, easy to get to places to hike. would love to come up in the winter next time! the kitchen was pretty well stocked with salt/pepper and olive oil, and the dishes/cooking utensils we adequate. the dishwasher was in desperate need of jet dry, so our dishes were not the cleanliest, but other than that, it was great!

Lutsen Townhome

Our family enjoyed relaxing at the townhome. Plenty of space for all of us. Property owners were great to deal with. The whole property is certainly geared towards skiers but it was a nice spring trip. Pool is within walking distance of main resort. Bugs were a little thicker than we had expected, but nothing a little bug spray didn't fix. We enjoyed the alpine slides and gondola ride.

Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed for a Lutsen ski trip and couldn’t have been happier! Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Ski in ski out is a major plus. Kids also loved the pool after a day on the slopes. Thanks for sharing your place with us.
