A lovely environment. Warm, friendly and caring workers. Reasonable room rate. Poor internet connection in my room and no tv for 3 weeks. Monotonous breakfast. Same thing everyday.

Like during my last visit, this was a great space for a peaceful weekend retreat with friendly guests and service as well as clean rooms with bug nets and pools for when the sun got too warm !

Exceptional accommodations
Thank you for a delightful experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to make sure I was accommodated when a flight was canceled. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with plenty of opportunities to meet fellow travelers. I would definitely stay here again.

Short stay in Lusaka
We only stayed here for one night, but the property was spacious and well-decorated. The hostel is also well-located close to Arcades and Manda Hill shopping centers. The only issue was that the water pressure was a bit low when we were there, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Average accomodation near east park mall
It was close to East Park but was highly priced for a small room with a shared bathroom. Similar room near Levy Mall for 25-50% cheaper price. Outside is being renovated and smelled like fertilizer. Also neighbor has barking dog. Breakfast was eggs with toast. Host was nice.

Great and helpful staff in both locatons of Natwange. For a backpacker place we found it a bit expensive. We had the chance to sleep in two different bedrooms, and one of them had a good comfy bed whereas the other felt like it would break if we move. Not sure about the difference between the two locations. It would make the place also better with refurbished common bathrooms which need a makeover. Hotel transfer from airport was useful but also bit expensive for 25$. We ordered food once (rice & chicken) and found it good..

A home away from home
This was quite a nice surprise in a busy African city. The staff made us feel very welcome and we're happy to accommodate any requests we had. The property is tucked away in a residential part of the city away from the usual hustle and bustle but within walking distance of some major shops. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying there again when in Lusaka Also George the dog is a little charmer with lots of love to give. Give him a cuddle and you'll have another friend for the duration of your stay.

Great stay, especially for the price!
We needed an affordable place to stay and had never stayed at a backpackers hotel so we were a bit weary of what to expect but we were completely blown away! Our room was clean and exactly what we needed. There were two bathrooms so we never had to wait to shower or anything. The kitchen has everything you need, we even stayed in and cooked one night. The best part was all the great people we met. You really can't beat the price! Highly recommend if you are on a budget.

Calm oasis in the chaos of Lusaka.
Spent two nights here recently as I was in transit to Malawi. One of the most pleasant backpacker experiences I've had. The feel and the facilities were more those of a guesthouse, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful, even preparing delicious vegetarian meals for me at short notice. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I would recommend Natwange to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Those looking for a loud party atmosphere should probably look elsewhere

Fantastic place in Lusaka
I loved my time at Natwange! The staff are wonderful - really welcoming, helpful and kind; the grounds are a lovely place to relax; the breakfasts are delicious; the rooms are clean with comfy beds and lovely decor; the shared bathrooms are clean and the showers are powerful. I would complete recommend you stay here - it is amazing value for money and you will love being there!

Probably the Best Backpacker in Africa
This is probably the best Backpacker in Africa. Very clean rooms and kitchen. Bedding was changed daily and smelled fresh. Mosquito nets provided. Full tasty English breakfast included. Airport pickup for 25USD by the friendly Paul. Anita the owner and her staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. I checked in just after midnight and they were waiting for me to arrive. They also prepare supper if you are interested - nshima and stew with traditional vegetables was the best dish I had during my travels (try it). Very big portions served I failed to finish it every night. If I ever fing myself in Lusaka again this is where I will be staying. Thank you very much Anita.
