Not as advertised/Misleading
After contacting the host about another house, the host redirected us to this house. We booked a 3 night stay after the host said the pool was heated, and we were told the pool was ready to go.Upon arrival, the pool was not finished being cleaned and filled. A maintenance crew arrived a couple of hours later. After that, the pool never heated up the entire stay. When we entered the house, there were bugs everywhere, dead and alive. They were on the towels, in the beds, by every window and door.We spent the first day and a half cleaning just to be able to try to relax. We cleaned up dead bugs constantly. Under the beds was filthy. Under the two couches in the living room have seemingly never been cleaned. I moved the couches to sweep and found an old, spilled milk bottle. There was old dirty laundry stuffed in the recliners in the loft. The kitchen faucet was maddening. It would NOT stay off, the handle was loose enough to turn itself back on. The head of the faucet was velcro to the base which was not hold it. The kitchen also had no cleaning supplies and the trash cabinet was filthy. The microwave above the stove was broken.Grill was gross and wouldn't turn on. Cornhole boards were trashed, one was in the woods behind the house. Air hockey table puck was cracked. Construction debris around the house. Overgrown weeds along the cracked brick path.We left a day early. Host has ghosted me.DO NOT stay here!
