"Rarely in life does reality exceed expectations, but Sea Dog cottage accomplished this! A beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage with all the comforts of home, it’s the outdoor space that’s the star here. There is a covered deck with dining table as well as Adirondack chairs, which was great for the rainy days. A few steps down a path and one discovers the most perfect seating area overlooking the water, complete with fire pit and hot tub. Could not ask for a more relaxing vacation spot....

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cottage with our baby and 2 small dogs. It had everything we needed, including a big yard for the dogs to run around in. Tons of things to do nearby with the dogs, including the fantastic trails right next door in Seal Bay (including a beautiful walk to the ocean where we saw Seals and Bald Eagles everytime). There is also a dog friendly leash optional sand beach (Saratoga Beach) within a 20 min drive. Andrea is a fantastic host and we look forward to...

"We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. "Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail."
