"The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. "From the pick up at 0130AM from the airport to the warm reception once I woke, to the food and garden, clean rooms and pool, this is the perfect place to fight some jet lag and have as home base… I kept extending .. just couldn’t leave .. definitely a jewel in the Malawi crown and the epitome of “Warm Heart” hospitality!"

Located in a quiet 600 hectares park with its own gamereseve, but only 15 mins from anywhere downtown, it’s a quiet, beautiful, reliable place. There is a vey nice garden with paths, a castle (!), a great restaurant and a beautiful swimming pool. The bungalow/rooms are spacious and have a feel of authenticity. This is the place to go "
