Peaceful property
We rented this for my daughter’s college graduation and it was perfect for our family. It felt like a peaceful little getaway. We loved the ducks.

So cute
Just like the Pink Door on the opposite side of the building, this rental is cute and clean! The owner is very helpful. The setting is pretty and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and peaceful
We had an over night stay on the way to a motorcycle rally. I could of stayed there for weeks. Very nice place. Great coffee bar. Comfortable beds. A peaceful pond with deck and the sweetest lil duck. Highly recommended

Love this place
This is our second stay and not our last. We love staying here. It is so quiet and peaceful and restful. We love the duck pond and the two ducks and turtles. A perfect place for any type of getaway.

Relaxing
Clean and each room has individual mini split so each person was able to set temperature to their liking. After a day of labor sat on dock had a few drink and cooked out. Was absolutely peaceful.

Great place for family gathering
We had both the upstairs and downstairs cottages and it was a great place for our family to gather for a celebration. Loved the cottages and the pond area. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with.

East Texas Cottage
Really nice little house for me and my buddies from school to meet up. Was looking for a place that was in the center of Houston, Texarkana and Waco and this was it. Clean, well maintained and reasonable, with a pond complete with ducks, turtles and frogs. Will definitely stay there again.

Big weekend
Found this wonderful place for our stay over SFA Graduation weekend. We really enjoyed the deck that overlooked the pond. We loved the resident ducks and the property owners had a really friendly dog to welcome us. The house was nice and the AC worked extremely well.

Definitely will be back!
We had such a wonderful stay! It was decorated for Christmas and they definitely out done themselves, it was beautiful! Your immediately drawn in by the homey feel as soon as you walk in the door. They provided you with anything you need and more. We had two babies that were in awe when the ducks waddled up to them. They loved having the opportunity to feed them. They loved the property little dogs as well! Such sweet animals. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back!

Perfect East Texas Hideaway
We needed a place to stay while attending a wedding in Lufkin and keep a 4 year old and one year old entertained. This beautiful little cottage was the perfect place! Everything we needed was provided, including a coffee bar and teh ability to adjust the AC in all of the bedrooms was a welcomed bonus! The adults and kiddos loved having the pond and gazebo right outside our door. We loved feeding the ducks and enjoyed our coffee on the gazebo in the rocking chair. Thank you for providing a serene outdoor and beautifully decorated home for us to rest and unwind during the hustle and bustle of the wedding festivities!

Cozy country cottage is a great place to stay
What a cute place! It feels like Chip & Joanna decorated it personally. The beds are a little too soft, but the charm makes up for it. We loved the peaceful surroundings, especially the duck pond, and the coffee station was nicely stocked with sugar and coffee. The privacy of the third bedroom isn't great because of the sliding doors, but for younger kids and most adults it's fine. I would definitely stay again.

disappointed in the end
The stay was nice and the property was pretty. When we got there, there were toys under one of the beds, and dirty socks under another. Also we had to wash one of the bed spreads the first night because it was covered in hair. The rug in the daybed room had sticky stuff in it and peanuts. aside from that the house was pretty good. We did have to use a towel on the bathroom floor because the concrete floor was so slick, and there were no dishrags so we used one of the bathroom washcloths for the dishes. We were then charged $80 for replacement of that towel and washcloth! I would have gladly replaced them but they were not ruined, a simple wash through the laundry was all they needed. We left there feeling pretty good about the stay until we were contacted and charge $80 extra for the towels and cleaning, which we swept and wiped down everything before we left. We have never left a VRBO home worse than we found it and dont intend to. I am wondering if this is their business model and why they dont want you to strip the beds or wash the towels you use.... So they can charge an exorbitant amount after you leave.... Just be aware.

Our numerous reviews show the care we take to keep good ratings. We also follow the extra Covid cleaning protocol between guests. It is not standard practice for us to charge extra. When the cleaning of the guest house and linens had to be done twice after check out, we did charge for that and the ruined towels which we washed multiple times and could not salvage.

Such a cute space!
This is such a cute little guest house! The decor was beautiful and everything you may need is provided. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. The house was very kid friendly. There was a box of toys and even a pack ‘n’ play provided for the baby. The boys loved hanging out in the Gazebo near the pond.

Cute place! Good to have full kitchen including dishwasher & range & fridge with icemaker! Only 1 tv. Flat screen with Roku. Modern remote controlled AC units. Spacious, clean bathroom with shower (no tub). Liked the little sound machine on nightstand.

This was our 2nd time staying at the property and it never disappoints! The owners live close so if you need anything they are always quick to respond and accommodate you. We have a 1yr old and its extremely kid friendly. I'm sure we will be back in the future!
