  • This two-bedroom condo, which sits only 50 yards from the ski trail in the popular Winterplace development, is as close as you can get to the slopes of Okemo Mountain Resort without paying a premium for ski-in/ski-out access.

    Inside, this condo is familiar and comfortable, offering a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, space to dine at both the breakfast bar and the adjacent table, and a living room with ample seating, a large TV, and a wood-burning fireplace to warm your toes in the evenings. There are even two full bathrooms paired with the two inviting bedrooms.

    With seasonal community amenities that include an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and tennis and basketball courts, Winterplace is a wonderful spot to find both relaxation and adventure. There are two chair lifts that come up from the base lodge area and let out by Winterplace, while the trail leading back down to the base lodge from Winterplace is rated for beginners, making this a fantastic location for skiers of all skill levels.

Family ski getaway

Great location, easy to check in, super clean and very well equipped with what we needed. Super comfy and warm with books to read and comfy places to relax. Nice big table to eat and play games together. We love it there!

Wonderful apartment

The stay itself was wonderful. The apartment is fantastic for its location, cleanliness, and amenities. Unfortunately, being on the second floor with people above you there can be a lot of noise. Pool was wonderful. Walk to skiing is fantastic. Would happily come back

Great Location

Great location, super easy to get on the slopes. Well supplied. The only struggle was the door lock and keypad didn't work, but was resolved easily. We'll be back!

Good Location, Avoid weekends

We stayed 4 nights, Thursday through Sunday. At 8 pm Friday night, the upstairs residents arrived and were very loud until 10:30-playing basketball and jumping off furniture. This repeated on Saturday night. I was happy that there were no small children trying to get to sleep early in the evening in our party!

overall nice, clean rental, but vacasa staff was not helpful

the rental was great, needs some painting outside. our main issue was communication with the vacasa team, very hard to reach, and GM wont respond to communications (we had trouble getting into the unit)

Nice location

This property is nicely located on winterplace condos. Very short walk to lift. Ski locker halfway to lift. Nice sunrise views. Only downside was that the people above us had a party one night and we heard every footstep, so our kids couldn’t get to bed until 11. Spacious boot room. Make sure you bring some laundry pods. They also didn’t provide tissues, so byo. Easy access to everything, just check traffic before heading to town, it is long after mountain closes.

Frustrating

When the door wouldn’t open with the key code, we were off to a bad start. Dirty houses, missing bedlinen and towels, blown lightbulbs, pool and locker key missing etc. house is ok, location is fantastic, but they need to get themselves a better cleaning and managing process.

Great Location

Great location and overall very good. Check-in was a pain, the keypad code that was provided did not work - after 40 mins trying to get in touch with someone from Vacasa through multiple channels, we finally did… and that code didnt work either. They finally were willing to provide rhe backup lockbox code, which the first # didnt work for either. We got into the play about an hour and a half after we arrived (post 9 hour drive). Not ideal. The stove was hard unconventional and hard to use, various lights (including the back deck) did not work, the provided Brita jug’s filter was past due, etc. Generally that is all minor and the location made up for it.

Great Condo

Had a wonderful stay at this well appointed Winterplace condo. It was the perfect weekend getaway for us. The condo was clean, every aspect was comfortable from the beds to the couch to the location. The slopes are easy to access. Ample wood available for fires in the fireplace. We loved our stay and would love to return.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed including a dishwasher, washer/dryer and mudroom with ample space for all our ski gear. Being able to walk a few steps to the slopes was a huge bonus.

Winterplace C103 – Good Value, Close to Slopes

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in several 2-bedroom units at Winterplace, and this was about average. The kitchen could use a few more items (lacking teaspoons) and the stovelight didn't work. There was no DVD player in the unit so bring a disk player and HDMI cable if you want to play any DVDs (cable did have Chromecast though). Unfortunately, the unit did not have a ceiling fan or any box fans which would have improved air circulation. The HVAC system is really noisy in these units and will wake you up, so having some background noise (like a fan) would be helpful for that too. The beds were comfortable but it was very odd having bunkbeds in the master bedroom instead of the second bedroom. The unit is about 100 yards from the slopes and fairly close to the pool/sauna.
