Great family getaway

Everyone had a wonderful week ranging from ages 13-78! Lots to do for all. Hiking, exploring, and relaxing and enjoying Ludlow. House was clean, in a perfect location and had everything we needed. Owners were very nice and had good communication. Maybe we’ll be back in the winter to ski!

Large family get away

We were a group of 8. 2 parents, 5 young teens and our 22 year old au pair. The kids enjoyed sharing the bunk rooms. The master bedroom was very comfortable for us. Plenty of beds, closet space and dressers for all of us. Plenty of extra blankets. The kitchen had all the necessary cooking and serving ware. We cooked and ate in every night. It was the perfect ski house rental. We felt very comfortable and at home. The owner was very communicative and his pre check in emails were very helpful. He let us know the local super market was closed for renovation so we knew we had to bring all the food we needed with us. Would definitely recommend the house to other families. If we go back to Okemo we would stay here again.

40th Birthday

Took my husband and friends for his 40th birthday. Close to Okemo activities, went mountain biking, disc golfing and went to Buttermilk Falls. Loved the location and the hot tub at night was amazing! Would love to go back.

Beautiful House, Great Location

The house was clean and comfortable and met all of our needs. The hot tub was awesome! We also loved the proximity to town, and there were so many nice activities in short driving distance. Great stay, would stay again!

Beautiful home in relaxing setting

My husband and I, with our 4 month old daughter, booked this house as our first vacation as a family in the hopes that it would be a nice relaxing time. We were not disappointed! The hot tub was especially lovely. The house was incredible and would be great for a large group (which we may get together for ski season). Communication was great from the owner and the little details were much appreciated. They provided linens and even smore supplies! The location was perfect - close to stores and great restaurants, but secluded enough to be peaceful and quiet.

Great vacation stay

Great space for relaxed family vacation

We had a wonderful vacation with our adult children (and their partners)--lots of space to spread out. This was the perfect house for us--we loved the fire pit and the hot tub for relaxing and chatting at the end of the day, the deck for drinking our morning coffee. We hope to return for another stay.

Great house rental for Okemo week

House is perfect for a family ski getaway. Nice kitchen (well stocked with utensils and everything you need) and family great room with nice big gathering area. Beds were comfortable and having washer dryer be hot tub nice adds. Location about 1/4 mile very walkable and we did every day. Good responsive owner. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Pandemic Summer Gem

We were looking to get away for a relaxing pandemic summer vacation away from the world to explore nature. Prescott's amazing property allowed our family of 7 to do just that. The house was perfectly sized for us and had every amenity we were looking for. Ludlow and the surrounding area is not just for skiing! Our family enjoyed the natural gems of hiking to the top of Okemo mountain, traversing the Quechee Gorge and exploring the splendor of Buttermilk Falls to start. We also visited Sugarbush farm, The Vermont Country Store, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science and more! The property itself is a beautiful space in what feels like the treetops with a nice yard for the kids to explore and fun rocks to practice hiking on. The hot tub soothed us after hiking while the inviting farmhouse table was home to the puzzles we completed at night. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space for serving meals. The washer and dryer were a plus - we ran them daily! The mudroom was perfect as an unloading area in and out of the car. The shelves helped to keep all 7 of us organized - a MUST for this mom! The owner was promptly communicative and attentive but not intrusive - wonderful! Though the home does not have a/c, the fans provided were fine and the nights cooled down for perfect sleeping weather - some of the best sleep we've gotten in months - one day all 5 kids slept past 10! We've traveled many places - this has been one of our best vacations and we can't wait to come back!
