Our family of 7 came for a few days of skiing at Okemo. The house was well situated and very quiet. There are obvious recent upgrades such as stove and microwave, and washer and dryer. The windows are airtight and heater worked great. We appreciated all the hooks in the bathrooms.
I did not realize till long after I booked that even though the house was listed as having 2 bathrooms, it actually also said much further down in the listing that it was only 1 1/2 bathrooms. I probably would not have decided on this property if I made the realization sooner. One shower was not enough for 7people. The listing should state clearly at the beginning that it is only 1 and 1/2 bathrooms.
The owner was very responsive to an issue regarding missing cookware.
The 2 primary beds were comfortable enough but the lower bunk beds were not comfortable for the teenagers. They also had issues getting to the top bunks because of how the walls are sloped.
My suggestions would be to upgrade cookware and cooking utensils and to either repair or replace the broken chair in the living room. Also we feel it’s a safety issue not having a hand
rail on the stairs.
