Also within walking distance is the pretty village of Orleton, where visitors will find two welcoming pubs, ideal for a quick pint or perhaps a hearty pub lunch. The National Trust property of Croft Castle is just a few miles away, a stunning manor house surrounded by 1500 acres of grounds. For those who enjoy sampling the local food, the town of Ludlow is just a short drive away and offers a wide range of restaurants specialising in local food, as well as the annual food festival.

On entering this Grade II listed property, guests will find themselves in the upper-floor open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its attractive beamed ceilings, large corner sofa, and dining table. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything that guests will need including 2 oven's, hob, microwave, and dishwasher, whilst the washer/dryer can be found housed in a separate utility room. Taking the stairs to the lower floor, there are two of the property’s bedrooms: the first of these is a super-king size room which can be made up as a twin on request, and benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC. The second room on this floor is a king-size room, again with an en-suite shower and WC. Both of these bedrooms have their own TV and DVD, as do the two further bedrooms which are located downstairs on the bottom floor. The first of the rooms on this floor is a super-king which can be made up as a twin on request, and has an en-suite shower room with WC, whilst the final room contains a super-size bed (that can be made as a twin upon request) with an en-suite bathroom offering a shower-over-bath and WC.
