Tuscan Gem

Beautiful property outside and inside,comfortable and well equipped with many thoughtful touches. Located about an hour from Florence and 45 minutes from Siena. Owner lives nearby, is very friendly and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Owner uses Google translate to communicate from Italian to English. Next door neighbor also very kind and speaks perfect English. My husband had back issues and his mobility was compromised. We wanted to see Florence but felt this would be impossible given his inability to walk and the auto restrictions in the city. Owner put us in touch with a guide and car service that had a special permit to drive in city. Both Excellent. When I sprained my ankle night before we left, owner whose husband owns a pharmacy in nearby Lucignano drove to town, got special zinc bandage for my ankle and bandaged it up enabling us to continue on next day

Ein Träumchen

Eine wunderschöne Finca. Mit 2 Wohnungen und separaten Eingang. Unten und oben. Beide komplett mit Küche eingerichtet. Die super großzügige Anlage eingezäunt mit elektrischem Duchfahrtstor. Toller Außengrill mit Sitzmöglichkeiten, welchen wir fast immer genutzt haben. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Dafür sorgt täglich Rosella, die gute Fee. Sie wohnt abseits auf dem Gelände. Man bemerkt sie kaum bei ihrem Morgen Rundgang. Sie stört keineswegs und ist für Fragen da. Das Highlight ist der Pool um den sie sich täglich kümmert damit er sauber ist. Im separaten Pool Haus steht eine Waschmaschine. Es ist an alles gedacht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind 5-6 Autominuten entfernt und gut zu erreichen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Danke dafür!

Phantastische Unterkunft in Lucignano

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen. Der große Garten mit Olivenbäumen und der Swimmingpool am Haus mit dem Blick über den Weinberg in die Landschaft hinein waren für uns ein täglicher Genuß. Die Vermieterin war stets zuvorkommend und herzlich. Sie erfüllte unsere Sonderwünsche sofort. Sie gab uns gute Tipps. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie zuhause. Man benötigt für die Einkäufe ein Auto. Die Geschäfte sind in ca 7 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir können das Haus für einen Urlaub sehr empfehlen.

Beautiful property

Our stay at this house surpassed all our expectations. Everything was very clean and well stocked with many little amenities and personal touches. The grounds have the most amazing views, especially in springtime. Mrs Rossella was a most gracious host. She was attentive to any of our needs. We had a wonderful experience with a chef as well. The hosts recommended her, and our dinner was unique and delicious! We will definitely come back to this house and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful AND Great service

Well, wasn’t this a pleasant stay! The house is huge, the kitchen perfectly equipped, the Garde and Pool leave nothing to desire. And even if you need to get out of the house (which didn’t happen too often), there is the small city of Lucignano with nice restaurants nearby, as well as a shopping outlet center and a water park. Also a big shout out to Mrs. Rosella Who attend to every need we had. A truly pleasant holiday!

Einfach toll!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub mit Kleinkind und den Großeltern. Das Haus und der sehr große Garten waren uns ein tollen Zuhause auf Zeit. Man wohnt sehr nah an allem Wichtigen und ist doch ganz privat und für sich. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Auch die Gastgeberin war stets sehr herzlich und bemüht alles perfekt für uns zu arrangieren. Wir haben uns schon vorgenommen irgendwann wieder zu kommen und können diese Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen!

Ein toskanisches Idyll

Wir, 2 Familien (8 Personen), haben wundervolle Urlaubstage in der Villa di Sotto von Signora Rosella verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man für entspannte Urlaubstage in der Toskana benötigt. Die Außenanlagen sind top gepflegt und befinden sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der wunderschöne Pool ist mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen ausgestattet, wobei es auch natürlichen Schatten gibt. Die Anfahrt zu diesem Haus ist recht abenteuerlich, da der Schotterweg große und tiefe Schlaglöcher aufweist. Hier sollten alle Anlieger dieses Weges für eine Ausbesserung des Belages sorgen. Das Haus befindet sich mitten in der Toskana und eignet sich somit hervorragend für Tagesausflüge in umliegend Städte wie Arezzo, Siena, Florenz etc. sowie in kleinere Städte in der Umgebeung wie Lucignano. Wer allerdings Strandliebhaber ist, muss mindestens 1 ½ Stunden Fahrzeit einkalkulieren, um ans Meer zu kommen. Die Besitzerin Signora Rosella kümmert sich liebevoll, aber kaum sichtbar täglich um das Haus und die Außenanlagen. Sie ist jederzeit ansprechbar bei Problemen, Fragen oder für Tipps. Die Unterhaltungen mit ihr über den Google-Übersetzer oder mit Händen und Füßen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es war uns eine Freude! Fazit: Vielen Dank liebe Signora Rosella für diese entspannten Urlaubstage in ihrem sehr schönen Haus. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

True gem !

Two families (7 in total) had wonderful time in this lovely house. The house itself is nicely restored and equipped with all necessary amenities and devices (with good wifi :) ) Four full size bedromms (two upstairs, two downstairs) allow to accomodate easily 8 adults. Both levels are separeted (external staircase) so privacy is provided. Swimming pool is large and deep but also with Roman stairs perfect for children. The surrounding area is dreamlike - garden is carefully and prefectly maintained with hundreds of plants and lots of flowers. Old trees provide with necessary shade during the day and if you imagine that the house is surrounded by wine and olives - it's the ideal house for Tuscan holidays. Last but not least - Rossella, the host was very, very frindly and helpful. We all agreed we wish to come back here :) Highly recommended !

Peaceful retreat in Tuscany

Property was even more beautiful in person! The owner was amazing - and welcomed us like family. She made us feel right at home and was very gracious and hospitable. Excellent recommendations for restaurants; and was able to visit winery where property's grapes are turned into delicious wine. Wonderful location in a peaceful countryside setting among olive groves and vineyards. Amazing outdoor living space and great kitchen. Central location near larger centres and minutes away from a quaint medieval town with great shops and restaurants. Enjoyed morning trips to local bakery for fresh bread.

Ruhig gelegen ohne nachbarn, bäcker in gehdistanz, lucignano ca 10 min mit dem auto zu erreichen mit tollen restaurants, das städtchen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Weinliebhaber finden etliche interessante weinbauern im umkreis von 30 min mit dem auto. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wurde stets geholfen, wenn wir restaurant- oder andere tips angefragt haben. Das haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, war sehr sauber mit top ausgerüsteter küche. Der gartenbereich ist riesig und sehr grün, er bietet tolle erholung. Das haus ist etwas ringhörig, aber da wir sonst keinen kritikpunkt haben suchen wir das haar in der suppe. Wir wollen sehr gerne wieder hierher kommen.

5-week business trip

Wonderful stay in Tuscany

We had a wonderful time staying in this property. The owner is on hand for any questions and maintains the pool & Garden beautifully. The kitchen has everything you need and we rented e-bikes for the week to explore the local towns. I hope that we get to return in the near future!

Incredible Tuscany Experience

Above and beyond high expectations. We were nervous when we saw the pictures that it couldn't be as good as it looked ... and we were right - it was better! The hosts have done a fantastic job setting up a property with so many different little areas to enjoy spending time in, and all sorts of thoughtful touches (particularly with toys and books for any little ones)! Every day we'd discover something new. The flowers are stunning, the setting is gorgeous, and we ate in far more than we expected because it was such a pleasure to spend time there and cook. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us ... but now we're thinking it was too wonderful to only experience once. Rosella and Giacamo were so thoughtful and helpful. Grazie mille! We have already passed on recommendations to friends who saw our posts on Facebook. The location makes it a central location to travel to other historical spots.

Had a Great stay!

We were seven friends om vacation, and we loved every second of our stay. Rosella was so lovely, and suprised us with pasteries one morning, that was so nice! We would totally recommend this house for everyone looking for a relaxing holiday with good friends and family.
