"I recently had the opportunity to stay at Firefly Cottages for a period of seven nights, and I must say that I do not feel compelled to return. The accommodations were somewhat rudimentary, as evidenced by the need to manually screw in the light bulb to activate the lighting in the bedroom. Furthermore, the door required the use of a key to secure it from both the inside and outside, which may be perceived as inconvenient by some guests. "Overall the property was mediocre. When we got to the airport we called for transportation, as planned before hand, and there was no response, so we had to rent a driver from the airport. When we got there there was no welcome and the orientation wasn't well coordinated. We found out later by ourselves that they had a whole restaurant that was open to the guests ( we weren't told upon arrival). "The Management shows little concern for the reality of their guest’s experiences. We left the property this morning after a four day stay. During the stay, we informed them each day that TV didn’t work. They apologized, but NEVER repaired or mitigated the situation. I booked out room as an individual using a mobility scooter. Despite having a ramp onto the deck, there was no ramp into the hotel, and no grab bars in the restroom, despite management’s assertion and advertisement that the property of handicap friendly. I complained daily, and while the staff constantly apologized, the supervisors and management simply didn’t seem to care. I will NEVER stay at this property again, nor would I EVER let anyone that I care about stay there. There are neighboring options."
