Perfect

I hesitate to tell anyone about this place because then everyone will want to stay at this property. It was absolutely perfect in all respects. I have never stayed at a cleaner or well equipped property. I am missing not being there. Even on a rainy day it is a great place to be looking out over the roofs of Lucca and listening to the rain, sitting in the comfortable lounge and plotting our next outing There are stairs to climb so a note of caution to those with difficulties.

Amazing!

This property as well as the owner is wonderful! I cant say enough about how ki d and helpful she was. The apartnebt was clean charming comfortable and located in what is possibly the best part of Lucca.

Lovely Lucca apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is large, bright and has great access to both the train station and the city center. There are a couple of cafes very close by as well where we enjoyed breakfast. Giovanna was a great host. She is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Lucca!

Lovely

Spacious, clean apartment with very gracious hostess. Location couldn’t be better. Steps away from our favorite gelato shop, favorite coffee/pastry shop and exit from inside the wall to train station.

Lucca IT inside the wall

We had a superb trip to Lucca, Italy starting with this comfortable apartment centrally located near all the amenities and historical treats inside the walled city. A short walk from the south gate across from the train station, we were able to walk to each of our planned sites. Giovanna was a wonderful host, who was available to provide great recommendations when requested and gave us plenty of space to enjoy this beautiful city.

Great place to stay!

We loved the Giovanna's apartment - it was very clean and brilliantly well equipped. We arrived a little early in the middle of a thunderstorm and Giovanna's graciously let us in and welcomed us to her apartment. We had a lovely week, the location is excellent for sight seeing, shopping and relaxing, there are great little bars, cafes and restaurants right outside the door, its an easy walk to the supermarket and there was even a roundabout/ carousel nearby which our 7 year old twins loved. The apartment has a warm welcoming feel and I loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen with the beautiful garden view. The weather was very wet the week we stayed but knowing we could come back and get warm, dry and comfortable was great. Giovanna was the perfect host.

Lucca Trip

Location was superb. The apartment had absolutely everything you could possibly need including maps, recommendations, etc. Kitchen was lovely. Since we four happen to be in our 70's, the only negative for us were the 42 steps. However, Giovanna was there to help us when we initially arrived.

From the moment we walked into this beautiful property, I knew we had made the right choice!! Filled with light, spacious….and so much character. Perfect location close to everything! Special family stay

We loved our stay at this apartment in Lucca. Conveniently located to train station, bus stops, Supermarket , shops and restaurants. We had hoped for an Italian home away from home and that’s exactly what we got. The kitchen and all rooms were stocked to make our stay comfortable and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. We enjoyed day trips to Pisa, Cinque Terre and Tuscan towns. At night we enjoyed strolling and exploring inside the walls. Bike riding on the walls was a highlight for the family. Giovanna was a fabulous friendly host, who gave us lots of information.

beautiful, gracious apartment

I have stayed in several apartments in Lucca and Puccini has an unusual amount of natural light and windows, and is very nicely furnished and appointed. We enjoyed a lovely cross-breeze through the open windows on warm June days and had views of a beautiful, large garden. Everything we needed for cooking and serving meals was available and the bathrooms were well stocked. Giovanna could not have been a more welcoming, positive and warm host -- whenever we needed anything she arrived with it almost immediately, and with a smile.

Perfect Location

Very nice apartment; everything was in walking distance. Many restaurants nearby. Short walk from the train station. Giovanna was very helpful. We had some problems with the hot water but Giovanna was very responsive.

Perfect Place for Us!

The location is wonderful! I wanted to make some meals ""at home"". The grocery store was within walking distance and the kitchen had everything we needed. In addition the regional train station was within walking distance which made a day trip to Pisa very easy. Giovanna our host answered every email prior to our arrival. She met us at the apartment to review the property and suggestions for activities. Lucca and Giovanna, thank you for making Lucca a city we want to visit again!

Perfectly located & very comfortable

The Puccini apartment is perfectly located within the walls of Lucca but an easy walk to parking. Restaurants, cafes, shops of all kinds and the best gelato in Lucca are just steps away. The apartment is spacious, quiet, sunny and is stocked with everything you need. Giovanna is a kind and generous host, offering help in any way that may arise.

Great apartment in very good location

This is the second time we've rented this property. Liked it so much that we came back. Giovanna is lovely and helpful. The apartment is perfect. Good layout and has everything you might need. It's a climb to the apartment (3rd floor by American standards) - if you have mobility issues, i suggest trying elsewhere. Window screens aren't really a thing in Europe, so respect the occasional mosquito. AC is extra, but respect only a couple $ or € per day unless you really crank it. Parking is at the train station, if you want it. Most of the walled city of a ZTL, which makes it nice for pedestrians. Location is great, close to Porto san Pietro, within the walls. Train station is a quick walk. Small grocery store is an easy walk, but a big supermarket will require a car. I would happily come back again. Lucca is a delight and this is a lovely place to stay while you're there.

Eine Ferienwohnung für die ganze Familie

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Wohnung, sehr groß und hell! Unsere beiden großen Kinder hatten jeder ein eigenes Zimmer und wir haben mit unserem Kleinsten im großen Schlafzimmer geschlafen! Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht! Wenn man Probleme hat, kümmert sich Giovanna direkt darum! Eine ganz herzliche Frau! In Lucca ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, Bäcker, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und Metzger! Meine Familie und ich möchten uns noch einmal ganz herzlich für die tolle Zeit bedanken! Giovanna du bist die beste!
