The cottage was cozy, quaint, and everything we were hoping for! It was the perfect place for a relaxing, and quiet getaway. Great location in between the town center and West Quoddy light. Fun beaches to explore nearby, and the grounds were beautiful. We loved walking our dog through the field and down to the edge of the water. The house was cozy and clean! Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend, and we hope to return!

my husband and I stayed at this adorable cottage to watch our daughter run the 1/2 marathon in Lubec. What a beautiful spot!! our only complaint is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy this gem of a place!! I highly recommend this cottage!!!

This was a surprise get away. With that, I was surprised by the location’s beauty and excited to stay in a cottage that was like a doll house. The cottage was well decorated, supplied, and overall clean. Being close to the West Quoddy Lighthouse, Campobello Island, all the natural trails, and of course being able to see the sunrise over the Atlantic where it touches the continental US first thing (while in bed if you so choose) is amazing!! Wonderful experience!

Beautiful!!

The setting as well as the home itself are spectacular! The house is cozy, has everything you can think of, and the views are stunning! Our kids had a blast playing in the marsh at low tide- it is like a different world. We really loved this stay and hope to return again.

Peaceful retreat

Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! Thank you, Catherine for the lovely gift bag full of Maine goodies, and the special touches throughout the home.

Great stay for birdwatchers

A beautiful and ideal setting for birdwatchers and nature lovers. We had a wonderful time, loved the location for going to many birding hotspots, and totally enjoyed sitting out on the incredible deck overlooking the bay. The house is well stocked with any and everything you might need to enjoy your stay.

We have vacationed in the area for ten years and always admired this cottage as we drove by. We are so glad we were able to stay week there soaking up it's natural beauty and artistic charms. Beautiful View!

This charming cottage exceeded our expectations! The view was AMAZING and the beds and furniture were so comfortable! Its a cottage, so there are a few quirks that add character, but it's very clean and the personal touches show a lot of love for the home. Outdoor furniture is plentiful and comfy... my favorite was reading on the swing watching the birds over the ocean! Catherine was a wonderful host answering our questions promptly and checking in with us. We loved our stay!

Great spot for our anniversary

My wife and i decided to spend our anniversary here and fell in love as soon as we walked in.This little cottage was perfect oir little get away. The style and layout was just what we was looking for. Both upper and lower deck made the view even better. We loved the outdoor seating on the beach. I would recommend this place for a great little get away

Lubec in June !

The flowers around the cottage are stunning in late June, just everywhere, all colors. Views are beautiful from every room. We were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather, for Maine residents it might have been a heat wave, for southerners just a nice warm day to enjoy ! The upstairs window airconditioner worked perfect to keep both bedrooms cool for the one warmer night.

If you are not a morning person, a stay at Lubec Cottage will make you one. Waking up to the sunrise outside the french doors of the master bedroom is just stunning! Our stay was exactly what we were looking for — quiet, relaxing, and much needed de-stressing. Hiking trails are 10-20 minutes drive away. Cottage amenities are well thought out and was much appreciated. Take time to read some of the framed items (ie article by front door, letters found when remodeling in master br).Note: If you’re a chocolate lover, stop by Monica’s Chocolates only 1.3 miles away from cottage!

Beautiful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage. The surrounding scenery and view of the water is very peaceful and the location of the cottage is perfect. Close to downtown and all the beautiful hiking the area has to offer. Catherine goes the extra mile to make her guests feel welcome and the gift basket when we arrived was a special surprise and much appreciated!

Wonderful stay in Lubec cottage

Mid June was lush, everything was green and many flowers in bloom, just lovely. Lots of hiking, birding, some kayaking and Campobello. Had some fog but headed inland a couple days and found clear skies. The cottage is inviting & clean and the studio is inspiring - my husband paints in there. A nice surprise to find the wonderful veggies and greens from Far Out Farms in the fridge. Had a great time and already booked for next year.

Pure relaxation in this sea house

From the moment we unlocked the door this sea house had a calm , cozy, relaxed feel. This sea home is one that I will remember.. The charm of this home feels comfy and warm. Not to mention, a beautiful gift. The owner was lovely and very gracious.

Relaxing

My husband and I stayed here for a relaxing getaway! Exactly what we needed. The cottage is beautiful, cozy with stunning ocean views and sunrises! Our pups loved running through backyard and grass! A quick ride down the road brought us to the beach where we explored for hours and found some sea glass.
